I would not recommend for outside use. Need to improve stickyness.
Ordered this item to add two additional break lights on my bike, i cleanned with alcohol made sure it was dry and perfectly clean (the bike is new, bought 5 days ago), as you can see on the photo it didn't last a hour... And that is surprising because it's just plastic, not tile or concrete as you would expect a waterproof strip light to be.. So my honest opinion I don't think this is a great product... Also if you plan to attach more led stripes together, the connectors for waterproof led lights you can find here on amazon are garbage as this strip has a very thick coating and the connecting pins don't make contact with this item. I had to solder to make it work and have 2 stripes with one controller in parallel. It seems to be pretty bright, haven't tried it yet at night.

Nice looking LED strip with radio remote control
I like the strip overall. It gets an even and good brightness which can be adjusted using a remote control.The packaging was done safely and it comes in a padded envelope to make sure it arrives safely.The strip had some hint of plastic smell, but it was gone quickly so this is not an issue.The actual strip is waterproof, this way it can be mounted near the water source (just be careful with the controller and power supply because these components are not waterproof).I left it running for a while, and it gets only slightly warm. That's a good thing.I liked that it comes with some mounting so you can mount it under cabinets or places like this.Also, it's good that the remote control is radio, not infrared, so you can control it through walls and don't need to point it to the receiver when switching modes. And you don't get any interference with using other remotes in your room.It's compact, easy to mount, bright enough and gets some flexibility to various colors.

Received item promptly and everything was there and it worked properly out of the box. The LED colors as described and brightness level range was just right. Then started having problems with the remove control. First it started working, then randomly and finally it would not work. I could tell it was the remote due to visible light LED. When pressing the button the LED would sometimes light up very dim and sometimes not at all. Unfortunately, this product works only if the remote works. Customer service was responsive, and offered a refund in lie of not been able to ship a replacement to an overseas location. I would try again once I return. In the meantime... no lights :(

*Update 5/24/18* these have been installed for a couple months now and they work great. I have them set up on my stairs with a Wemo plug for Alexa integration and auto function.They said in the product description " 【Our Advantages】We offer the black background color of the strip which blends in better with darker color furniture than the white color strip.Also,Double layer copper, double costs than other single layer copper LED strips in the market." it is not BLACK!! It's WHITE so plan accordingly.... My mistake! I didn't see the option..

well made easy to install
From all the good reviews I had to order these lights, very easy to install and look great. I have found many uses for these lights. I use them to light up the ledge in my home theater, they really impress.Great customer service, I had a small problem and called them and they handled it very fast. these lights serve as a nice touch for any room and they stand behind their product.

So very pleased
Haven't had them for long, but I am very pleased with them. My daughter had wanted a set of lights to put in her room for when she's just hanging out with friends and such. These were cheaper than some of the other sets she looked at, but they were big enough to go around her entire room ( with a few inches extra) and they had all the features of a different set that was $10 more. Hopefully they last as long (if not longer) than the string of LED tree lights she had been using for the last two years.

Major Fail
The controller doesn't work at all and the lights have a bad section. I had to use a different controller from a different set of lights to get them to work correctly, and then I noticed a bad section of lights. Complete waste of time and money.

Works, but needs better QA control possibly
I ordered the 2 pk and both power up and it looks like all LEDs work.There are two problems that is why gave 3 stars. Both strips have a few spots that the flexible PCB board raised away from the backing, but they still work and I don't believe it to be a functional problem even long term.The second problem is that one of the strips has a color problem with green and red colors other then the primary. White is off as well in that strip, I will reach out to the seller about it, picture attached.

Stopped working after it rained, these lights are NOT 100% waterproof
Very disappointed with these lights. When I first switched them on I have to say I was impressed, the LED lights looked great and the remote control was very handy, enabling the colour of the lights to be changed at the touch of a button, as well as all kinds of flashing effects.I wrapped the lights around a small tree in our front garden and they looked great. However, for the first few days that the lights worked the weather was dry. We then had some snow followed by quite a lot of rain and it was then that the lights started to lose their luminescence. After switching them on and off a few times they then returned to normal brightness. But after another downpour of rain the lights then went extremely dull and eventually stopped working completely, much to my frustration.It appears that although the lights themselves are waterproof, the remote control unit they plug into is NOT waterproof, and after the rain it was this unit that got wet and stopped working, meaning it's now impossible to turn on the lights. I did bring the unit indoors and left it overnight in the hope that it might dry out and start working, but to no avail, the rain appears to have damaged the unit irrevocably so I will now be seeking a refund.So the strip of lights do appear to be waterproof, but the remote control unit is not waterproof, which defeats the object as it means these lights are not 100% suitable for outdoor use.

The lights themselves work great but the self adhesive backing is very poor and they continually fall down.

Excellent service and now I have 20 M of lights
Initially lights didn't worked. As I had a spare set We found out the lights didn't work due to a faulty connecting cable. Contacted Tingkam and they replace the whole set without hesitation and within two days. Excellent service and now I have 20 M of lights. Happy days.

Excellent LED strip lights
Excellent LED strip lights, easy to clip together so you can create a continuous strip, and the LEDs themselves are nice and bright. I had no problems sticking these lights to surfaces, and it was very quick and easy to get set up and working correctly. Also - for 10m of bright LEDs the price was very good.

Awesome to add some colour to our uni accommodation. Quite durable but if stepped on and twisted, the LED's break and go weird. The back has adhesive on, which allows you to tailor your lights to the shape of your room however it does leave a mess when you try to peel it off. The strips can be attached to each other which is good if you want to buy more and extend it.
