Disappointed
It was all very much promising for a couple of weeks until the weather got cloudy more then sunny with occasional rain. Then things took to worse and it completely stopped recharging through it's solar panel. I thought to myself since it has a port for a plug and can be charged through plug in; I will just do it that way. Well, bad weather made that impossible as it sadly wasn't as waterproof as thought at 1st. Eventually within a couple of months it stopped working altogether and ended up in my brown bin! I was to give it one star but that'd be a bit too harsh because when it was working it did the job. Price wise, compare around as this one isn't the cheapest one if all it'll do is break down!

Poor device
Review of: "Cat Repellent, Kaifire Ultrasonic Solar Powered Animal Repeller, Outdoor Waterproof Electronic Cat Scarer Repeller Motion-Activated with Ground Stake"Really poor. I bought it for £19.99 more than a year ago to replace an old, broken Mega-Sonic cat repeller and it's just not what I wanted. It's not one of those devices that you can set-up and forget about them. This device was useless from day one. There's no way to easily find out if it's working (if it's "on") or not. There's no way to check if it's charged or not. Other similar devices have a button that can be pressed to generate a test sound. This device has nothing like that.Charging it is as tricky as it can get. USB cable that's about 30cm (1 foot) long. Way too short. Because it's USB you then have to get a plug or ...charge it by connecting to a computer?! How long to charge it? How can you tell? You can't.Today I ordered a new Mega-sonic again. I'm going to plug it into mains adaptor and relax.Buying "Cat Repellent, Kaifire Ultrasonic Solar Powered Animal Repeller" was a waste of money.

Permanently lit or not
Just bought this but not sure wether it will work or not. I seem to have a permanent white light on constantly. Will it ever go off I ask myself. Is this how it should be. I think the batteries will run out quickly.

Not sure if this would work but rats gone from ...
Not sure if this would work but rats gone from my compost bin within a week. Emptied compost bin now but confident if they come back this will work again. Can't put poison or traps down as have pets and hedgehogs in my garden. Would buy again.

I like the product
I like the product, it is very well made, I put it in my garden last night and there is no sign of cat deposits this morning, but can someone please help me as I am not very technical, where do I plug in USB to recharge the batteries.

Worked fine for 48 hours
Absolute rubbish! Worked fine for 48 hours, then built in solar panels started tarnishing, and therefore weren't charging properly. Recharged them on pc via USB lead, without improvement. Is the supplier available for contact?? NO! Total rip off - avoid like the plague!
