While this Heli is 4 channel it has counter rotating blades which aid in stabilizing flight. The best thing about this heli is the radio control. Each function, ailerons, power, yaw, and pitch can be adjusted. As I explain how to learn to fly this (or any)heli you will see how nice a feature this is.I was a newbie to flying helis so this is what I did:I reduced the max power to 50% and all other controls to 60%. By doing this the response to control input was so slow it was easy to stay in control. I started by keeping the skids on the ground (tar or cement is best so the skids don't get hung up) and slowly trimmed the heli to stay in one place. Next I lifted off and practiced just hovering, then progressed to moving sideways and turning left and right all while staying in a 4' square area. Any loss of control I immediately cut the throttle. Using 50% power I was never off the ground too far to hurt the machine with a quick power cut. As I got better at controlling the heli I increased the control responses gradually to 100% This is a good sized heli and I think that really helps as when learning you should look at the rotor shaft to see hat your inputs are doing. It flies wells outside even in a light wind. All this took only 4 cycles of the battery. If you are also a newbie, remember not to adjust trim as the battery dies as you are using less power and when you go to a full charge the trim will have to be done again. Set trims on a full charge and leave them there and when it goes out of trim you know your heli battery is nearing depletion. The remote only uses 4 AA batteries and the indicator on the control has not move from full charge. Value for the money is great and you can do so much more with a 4 channel heli. This is for outdoors until you get very good or have a large indoor place but I did the first steps (on the ground and slight hover) in my garage so wind would not be a factor in learning. I'm no expert, but I have tried others and this one is great to learn on.

Speedy delivery.... Excellent transaction... Great packaging!Well designed.... Stable flight .Only comment I have that might need attention : the Manual needs a few tweaks... Appears to be a translation... & needs some "Kentucky Windage". After reading some of the section repeatedly.... Ya get the drift WHAT It is trying to say.....( " Do not decompose the helicopter as it will affect proper operation" ). Disassemble ?This is just a minor inconvenience but requires a bit of homework and some mental exercises.Very happy with the actual helicopter performance
