Knife is great, customer service, not so much
Very classy utility knife. This is a gift for a son in the Army as he moves through his career. I can’t overstate the quality of the knife in that it is a good size and doesn’t look ridiculously “tactical”. Winkler Knives are usable collectors.My only complaint is not with the product, but the support. The sheath IS NOT the one shown or listed (leather covered Kydex), but is just Kydex. It holds the knife solidly, but isn’t what was advertised. On a product of this cost, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect to get what is described. I reached out to the vendor for the advertised sheath and was told to just return it to Amazon. Because this is a hard knife to find, I just asked for a replacement sheath and was told they don’t do that and to return it. Bottom line is this is a great knife, but just understand that the sheath isn’t what was listed and customer service leaves a bit to be desired.
