EcoQue ECO-72181 The Grill Rack

I had originally ordered with the plans of using this to capture any drippings while roasting. However, there are several warnings that the "water pan" should never be used dry or damaged could occur. This brings me to my second observation that the water pan is too small for the rack. There is enough movement of the pan between the verticals of the rack that it can slip of the bottom support and become askew. If there was too much water in it, it would spill over one of the smoker boxes. Bottom line, if you are going to use a water pan, be careful not to knock it off the rack. Especially if you need to pull it out to add more water to prevent it from going dry.The smoker boxes look to be nice. They are study and coated nicely. I have designated smokers and grills so I never really intend to use them a whole lot. I will have to try them out..

This item is very versatile. You can use this in more than one way. It can be used as a grill, a container to hold fish, a meat rack, etc.

We have used this Grill Rack for leg of lamb, roasts, turkey, scallops, shrimp and fish. We often grill for a crowd and Hubby loves that the delicate fish or shrimp are elevated enough on the basket to cook perfectly and when using the tray for large cuts of meat everything roasts up evenly and stays juicy with out needing too much attention. The smoker aspect adds another delicious dimension. Clean up is easy, I spray the basket with the high heat "Pam Spray for Grilling" and throw it in the dishwasher.
