All in all a fantastic bed so far, love it! And definitely recommended for the comfort, for the look and for the space!
This bed is amazing! If I could of given it 50 stars I would. Ok so to start, delivery was a bit slow but I was given two dates on which it was expected to arrive, it came on the first date and all in tact, in three large boxes. So no complaints. We took it to my room which is where it was going and opened it all up. I didn't read the front of the largest box (not many would) so for those who don't, all of the fixings, slats and all that are inside the headboard within a zip. I thought that was amazing hahaMy son and I put this together in about an hour, we followed the instructions mostly but we did a few things differently, such as where it tells you to match the side rails up to the headboard and bolt in. The side rails have a large bracket on them at each end that literally hooks onto the bolts once they are in place and then you can tighten them, so we did it like that to save time and fighting to get the bolts in through the fabric without the bracket getting in the way and then just hooked them all up and tightened the bolts. When turning the bed on its headboard to put in the feet and attach the fabric, we put the feet through the fabric first and screwed them in then attached the fabric to the velcro. If you have a sticky carpet you may want to lie something underneath before starting to build the bed or you may end up in a fight to get the bed up again as the velcro is really strong. My only tiny teeny little problem and it wasn't even something that caused an issue, more like a bug, the fabric was slightly too big for the base of the bed and a corner had the tiniest piece of velcro missing, but it was so small it didn't cause an issue and I just over lapped the fabric at the corners. I don't think this is an issue, but just to mention if you find this it doesn't affect the bed or storage and I suggest just gathering into the bottom corners too as we did.The slats were so easy to fit, other than you gotta be careful they don't pop out of the plastic holders while fitting them on, we fitted the first clips to one side and then added in the slats and middle clip, clipped them into their holes and then added the other side clip on the end of the slat and put that in place. It seemed to work a bit better that way rather than following the instructions and building them all up outside the bed and then transferring over to the bed rails. So to the lift part. This is the bit I will say check the nuts. Somebody had already attached the top nut on the lift arms, I thought that as per the instructions saying not to over tighten these, the person who had attached them would not of but unfortunately they had on one side. We attached the bottom and were careful not to do the same but because I didn't check one side it wouldn't shut down. Once I realised I climbed in (with son holding the bed haha) and untightened them, I used my socket set because it was on so tight! We also had to push the bed from that side over slightly (with the mattress on) as the bars had set in place and when we managed to get it down an outer bolt caught on the side rail. Luckily it was the inner rail and so the tiny cut it caused can't be seen. So make sure it's sitting centre when up in the air for the first time of closing it, once you do that it doesn't shift. It isn't a bed design issue, just the way it sits once put together that you have to double check on and unfortunately it isn't written in the instructions. The comfort? Well I put my new memory foam mattress on and it is awesome! No actually better than awesome! The only problem is I don't spend enough time in it! I read a review that the memory foam mattress didn't work well for the woman after I had ordered the bed, so I was in a panic at first but there was no need to be, not sure why hers didn't work because ours sits perfectly, there's no issue with it affecting the comfort, you can't feel them at all and there is literally no sound when you move on the bed, which use to do my head in every time I even made the slightest move on my old bed it use to wake my lil boy up.The storage underneath is brill, so much room, and very much needed. The bed to lift isn't heavy as you would think, really light and easy to lift. Also the corners aren't sharp on the bed, I walked into it the other night as corroborating evidence of this and didn't have to scream like I use to do with another old bed that was a similar wood design plus no bruises :DIt looks really smart too.All in all a fantastic bed so far, love it! And definitely recommended for the comfort, for the look and for the space!

Brilliant bed!
My daughter needed a new bed, and she wanted a black one. The bed is exactly what she wanted - and exactly as described. We were surprised at was how well packed it was - the 2 boxes it came in did not look large enough to contain the bed etc - but they were! It was easy to put up (it took two people around 40 minutes). They used an electric screwdriver which obviously made it quicker but it came with the tools necessary. The gas lift was stiff to close to start with but quickly became easier. The bed comes down in a controlled manner - slow, but not too slow. The floor is material so we decided we did not need it as the storage will be used mostly for books and we thought it would not be strong enough for that - so stuff will be stored directly on the floor. My daughter loves it. She says the headboard is comfy to lean against, because it is slightly padded. My husband said all she wanted was an "ordinary" bed, but this was not much more expensive (just over £100, including delivery) and she always needs more storage - he now says he told us this bed was exactly what she needed! We are thinking of converting another small room from an office to a bedroom and, if we do, we will seriously consider ordering another.Only very slight negative is the delivery company they use - it took 7 days from despatch to delivery - although this was within the estimated delivery date, it was at the very limit. To sum up, love the bed, love the price and would use the company again, just beware if you want it in a hurry!!!*** update - we ordered a second bed. It arrived much quicker and is just as good as the first one!

My 2nd bed from TigerBeds but both slightly different....
My 2nd purchase from Tiger Beds with the last single bed being bought last January. Decided to re-order as was impressed by the quality and service I received so here is my balanced review of my 2nd purchase.First of all, the dimensions of this latest bed are not the same as described in the advert:1. The bed headboard and bed width are 36" exactly - not the measurements shown.Yes its a 3 ft bed but the previous one was wider and longer (as confirmed by reviews on here and in the ad) which allowed the mattress to sit on the pneumatic frame inside the bed. Not so on this model as the mattress sits on the frame as well. I ordered on the basis I would get an identical bed but that's not the case.2. The thickness of the headboard and all panels are noticeably thinner than the previous bed too - feeling bit more flimsy3. The PU material does not look as sturdy- are suppliers trying to save a few bob?The bed was due on 17th December and didn't arrive - nor did it arrive on 18th and I had zero communication.* The positive of this being that the seller responded to my concerns quickly and it was delivered on Sunday 20th* I put it together on my own in just over an hour (easier if you have done one before!!)* Lift mechanism is reassuringly strong and hard to lift as we don't want kids to be able to move it easily* The storage inside is really useful* The slats appear to be very strong.Overall I think bed is ok which is why I have rated it 3. Knocked a star off for the poor delivery and the fact the bed is smaller than described / looks in the picture. But for £100 you really cant go wrong - and if you have put it together properly 2 people can move it about if need be (mattress off and frame in the up position)
