awesome juicer
really well designed. I have owned 2 juicers in the past and both cost over $150. In fact, one was over $700. This juicer has really good inter-locking parts and well thought out pieces. Sure there are some cheesy bits here and there but for the price, it rocks. Like ALL centrifugal juicers, there will be moisture or juice left in the pulp. This juicer does better at pulling the juice from the pulp that my $150 model. I do clean the mesh screen and re-run the pulp for more juice. There is not a lot of foam- which is a great sign that the fruits and veggies aren't heating up too much during extraction thereby reducing enzymes.I thought i would need a stronger motor with higher wattage, but i don't. It works perfect for the size of the machine. The motor will sound under load if you are pushing hard on the stuff getting ground up- but why would you do that? Let the grinding teeth do their work and slowly feed in the veggies. The only downside i have to this juicer is that mine spits small amounts of juice out of one area between the base and clear plastic large top. My wall needs a wipe down after juicing. If the company made a tensioner adjuster for the lockdown arm, it would be awesome. It comes with a small cleaning brush which is a great bonus since clean up can be a PITA on juicers.pros:- well thought out design-2 speed-easy clean up-spout stop-foam reduction piece in juice container-interlocking partscons:-cannot adjust the tensioner arm. (not sure if you can on any of them, but it would be nice)-cheap motor but works very wellEdit: After using this some more the following has occured:No more juice being spit out at that one area (yay)make SURE you firmly seat the straining basket that has the teeth in it. i made the mistake once and chewed up the top from the basket bouncing up and down from some loose leaf veggies. Completely my fault on that.when your cleaning: There is a rubber piece inside the spout that keeps juice from coming out when pushed up. When spout is in down position and lets juice out, Move that rubber piece up slightly from the bottom and clean thoroughly!!!! I found all sorts of nasties inside there when i took it apart. After a week of using the juicer with the top i accidently ground, i contacted Novete US who sold the equipment and asked about buying a new top, they did not have any buy instead sent 2 juicers that were sent back to them. I was able to scrap together a fully usable new unit out of the two juicer so i am very happy about customer service from NOVETE US

The design is woefully inept, and the parts are already damaged
My wife bought this thinking we'd start out on a healthy journey, but unfortunately it wasn't meant to be. The giveaway should have been the 9 positive reviews, but lesson learned. Here's how it went.We received the juicer, washed and assembled all the parts (except one, which was included but is not mentioned in the manual at all. See second picture.) We start off juicing a cucumber, which caused the juicer to make a really loud rattling noise. The last time I heard that kind of sound was while taking off on a flight to Atlanta and a bird hit the plane engine. We shrugged it off, thinking "Heh, user error," but no, that is the sound this thing makes when juicing. We looked in the pulp catcher thingy and there were large chunks of un-juiced cucumber. "Hm," I thought, "Is this a food processor or a juicer?" Not to be outdone, it was my turn to make Kale-Ginger-Lemon-Apple juice. We washed off the parts again because the cucumber and my ingredients don't mix well. I started off with the ginger and again, the loud rattling noise. I honestly thought we'd have to take cover to avoid flying bits of ginger. Before you all say it, yes, I made sure the blade was secured.Fast forward to this evening, and we noticed while washing the juicer the plunger part was chewed up. After further inspecting the part into which said plunger is inserted, we also noticed the edges were chewed up.The design of this thing is to insert the stuff you're going to juice into the neck of the cover, then push it down with the plunger. However, the plunger only handles the middle bit. The blade is rotating and chipping off the bottom of the cover. The plunger had little shavings coming off it as well, so I'm pretty sure we got some plastic in our juice.$59.99 is cheap folks, and as the saying goes "You get what you pay for". If you like loud rattling noises and plastic in your juice, this is the juicer for you!

Clearance issues after a few weeks
This review is for the Kitchen Komforts Professional Juicer Juice Extractor. I have owned this juicer for 35 days and have used it every day (except today). The pros –• Two speed• Motor has sufficient power• Easy cleanup• Large food opening• PriceThe cons-• As with all centrifugal juicers I have used they don’t work that well with softer fruits such as pineapples & apples. While juice is extracted, the unit must be stopped and cleaned out periodically.• Juice outlet spout design is such that the outlet can be flipped up to shutoff the juice flow. Unfortunately this opening is quite small so it plugs easily (especially with softer fruits). If you do not notice when it plugs juice will overflow internally to the unit and spill out the bottom.• After about 3 weeks I would occasionally get noise when I first turn on the juicer. The issue is the basket makes contact with the plastic shoot due to play in the mechanism. After approx. 4 weeks the basket has chewed away part of the bottom of the inlet chute which causes chunks of unprocessed vegetables to be launched into the basket with excessive force. This wastes food and is extremely irritating.I have used various centrifugal juicers for over 10 years so I am aware of their issues. This particular unit has some design issues that make it no longer usable after 35 days. I am now looking for a different juicer.

Powerful extractor
The media could not be loaded. Â this juice extractor is pretty powerful. There are two levels of power modes. In the video clip, I select level1 and extract cucumber, apple, grape, and kiwi. It works pretty well. The extractor outputs juice only in the container (if you are extremely picky, there might include very fine dregs). Clean and assembly are pretty straightforward.

It leaks in the bottom. Takes in a lot of fruit for less juice. I am thinking about returning it.
