Review: WAYY better than supermarket versions, where has this been all my life 😭 - When I first opened it up, the distinct, unique scent of vanilla just wooed me, it really is amazing, and all my cakes and desserts have this beautiful mild scent to it and the slight flavouring it gives is wonderful, I really think this vanilla is the cause of all the compliments I get for my baking, I cannot believe I've been using Dr oakter madasgarcan vanilla all this time (that stuff was literally just honey in a bottle, absolutely useless 😭), but so glad I came across this, and the price is fabulous right?!

**Q: is this a staight substitute for the vanilla extract you get in the tiny 35ml bottles from the supermarket? eg, is 1tsp enough for a vanilla sponge**
A: No..it is not as strong the extract from the tiny 35ml bottles. I have found you need to double up the quantity of 1tsp to 2tsp.

**Q: What is the ingredients list?**
A: Water,Propylene Glycol,Natural Identical Vanilla Flavouring,Colour: Plain Caramel

**Q: What % vanillia is it?**
A: It does not say the percentage of vanilla on the bottle. I have used it for years and it is very good if you don't want to use alcohol based essence. I just use 2 tablespoons for a 10-12" cake batter and it has worked for me

**Q: Does this essence contain oil ?**
A: No, it is not oil based essences
