Review: A perfect fit for my living room - I ordered two of these tables to go with the matching dark brown contemporary table. I threw my previous tables out to force myself to buy new ones. I was looking for replacements that would be affordable, sturdy, well-made, no bottom shelf, no drawers, and lots of surface space. It took me two months to make a decision because every table I liked came with negative reviews, but I took a chance on these and they are perfect. I agree that the end tables are higher, and I was worried that they would be too high, but they are perfect for my couch, and my couch does NOT have high arms. Also, one of the end tables was stained unevenly on one side, so like another purchaser, that side faces the back. I don't know what they are made of, but I think the price is good for what I got. Like I said, they are very sturdy. I usually leave assemblies for my husband, but I was eager to see them in place. They are easy to put together, but they are heavy, so plan for that. I started off assembling these manually. It was taking forever! So I found an allen wrench bit, got my drill out, and had them together in no time. They look GREAT, and they are plain enough that they will go with many types of decor. Hope this helps in your decision. If not, happy hunting.

What a perfect end table! This table was exactly the right height for the lounge chair we have. It is the perfect color and blends with our other dark brown furniture. It is solid and very well constructed. It was easy to assemble. It has sufficient table area for a lot of things!
