One Dozen Peck or Apple Baskets With Wooden Spool Handle

I took a class in weaving an apple basket, which I plan on using this summer with my garden. I figured once I learned to make one I could then whip up several more. Unfortunately, when I looked for supplies on line to make one basket I found that making one would cost as much as the class (about $60). So, I hunted around some more and found these dozen baskets for less than the price of one made at home. Not as pretty, of course, but they are perfectly useable and will suit my purposes this summer, assuming the snow is gone by July.

Sturdy and well built

They were just what I was looking for. We used them for a outside country style wedding and they looked beautiful with planted flowers in some and apples and peanuts in the other ones.

Very useful and look a lot better than cat litter containers or card board boxes. I line them with newspapers and stored tomatoes, onions, and sweet potatoes in them.

Exactly what we needed. I made up little picnic baskets for my wedding by adding liners and filling with goodies.

Perfect basket. Tightly made, no spaces between slats, a very comfortable handle, and a good price per basket when bought in the dozen pack.
