Happiness Is: One Happy Thing Every Day: A Three-Year Journal Diary – Day to Day Calendar, 28 Mar. 2016

I bought this book as a Christmas present for my 17 yr old daughter Tara who hadn’t passed away the year before. I gave it to her three brothers to open on her behalf. I asked them to write any happy moment they experienced despite the pain of her loss. It gave them and all of us hope and strength to seek out the happy times and record them in her book. We laughed with her and for her and recorded it all down. What a wonderful little book this has turned out to be for us all.

This is a lovely journal to record a few lines each day of what made you happy that day. It’s a three year journal so it’ll be interesting to look back and compare the same day year on year. However after 4 months of use the binding on the back has torn on the edge so a sellotape repair job was required. Not something I’d expect considering the price of the item. Prior to this I was really happy with the journal and it did feel like good quality. A pity because it’s going to get a lot more use over the next 3 years and this is the only journal I could find like this on the market. I do like the ribbon which you can use to find the day you need very easily. I also like the small illustrations on alternative pages showing things that can make you happy. Not just big things but little things like a hot cup of coffee or a bowl of perfectly ripe strawberries.

I did buy this for a teenager girl. Although the appearance is nice I think is quite useful. Teenagers have to express themselves and their feelings. And few lines written on a daily basis in a journal will be funny and educative at the same time.

This book is such a great tool for anyone who is searching for happiness, is building on their current happiness or is looking to maintain their happiness. Pros: - Compact square sctructure which makes it easy to travel with - Cute animations throughout the journal which add a lot of positive energy to the book - Able to record 3 years of daily progress & Happiness - Enough room to write a sentence or two - Has a yellow ribbon which you can use as a bookmark - Unique yet incredible colour scheme of Red, Teal and Yellow Cons: - Sometimes the book doesn't stay open and makes it a little difficult to write with one hand - The pages are somewhat thin so be careful with your choice of pensPersonally, this book helped me to look at the positive parts of my days. It really does wonders for your mental health when you commit to it everyday. My favourite part about it is turning back the page and reminiscing about days that were in the back of my mind.You can't pay for happiness, but you can pay for things like this which help to build happiness. Worth every penny!

I love this journal! It's a simple but structured way to encourage yourself to focus on at least one positive thing every single day. I especially love that it's a three-year journal so I'll be able to compare days across the years. Very fun!

I really like this book - I've got one myself and have given several as gifts. You have space to write one nice thing that happened to you each day for 3 years - a good thing to do and fun to look back on.

I love the simplicity of this "journal." I struggle with journaling, and find it so easy to just write down one thing that made me happy each day.

I saw this little book in a store one day and fell in love with it. It's very cute and for whatever reason gives me motivation to actually write in it everyday. Bright and cheery with cute illustrations scattered throughout, I love how I only need to write one thing each day but there is enough room to write it in every day for 3 years. I keep it on my bedside table so each night it reminds me to write in it. Love it!
