Love the design of letting it stand on end and using it as as a table or shelf light. Bought it thinking that the 1,000 lumnen mentioned in the SPECIFICATIONS would be anywhere close to true. NO. It's NOT. I have Cree's and Duracells and lots of rated flashlights, this is amongst the lowest output of any of them. I suppose I could spot meter it, but it's so low, there's no need to bother. 250-300 lumens is easily observed. And yes, I know that the battery type strongly affect this, but I have and use14000 and 18000 series rechargeables as well as regular AA cells from Duracell.Perhaps the led is rated for the capability, but the electronics don't support the brighter output. Re-reading the general description it says "it can't output 1000LM", yeah missed that CANNOT part when I ordered, or was overly optimistic.One last note, the pocket clip gets in the way of unscrewing it open. They should steal, erm learn, a bit of design from Cree i think.Still, it's cute and will be handy.
