MidWest Homes for Pets Guinea Habitat Plus Cage, Includes Divider Panel and Hinged Top, Washable PVC Canvas Bottom, Expandable Small Animal Cage for Guinea Pigs, 171GHP

This cage is perfect for my two guinea pigs, Cookie and Biscuit, to live in indoors over the winter period. Easy access. Love the separation section to make bedroom and play/eating area separate. It seems to provide plenty of space for them. They seem very content. So easy to clean and will be easy to foldaway for when they go back into their outdoor hutch when it gets warmer. I highly recommend. Update: 7th December. Bought a second to provide more space for them and they are soo much happier! One for food and play and the other for calm and sleep. Perfect!

Fantastic. Easy to set up, folds up small so easy to store when not in use.

Easy to access your guinea pigs and to feed/clean daily. All on one level so much easier than having 2 tier. It opens at either side ( like a picnic basket ). Room for 2 GP’s, More would be crowded. The base can be put in the washing machine and you can order a spare base. This would be handy if you do not have another cage or run to put them in while base is in machine. I have one of the side gates open and have another run at end. This is my own run. However, I’d expect this company to have additional parts so you can extend the side of cage. All in all pleased with the functionality of this cage. Entry from the roof makes it easier to look after your GP’s. My GP’s are happy too.

Great cage for a low price

We used this so our family could guinea pig-sit while we went away. Very easy to set up and a decent size for a travel cage. I chose not to use the middle panel and it works fine without it. I also cable tied the doors closed so they didn't work themselves open as they seem a bit loose. I can imagine if you had a couple it would be very easy to join them together. The lid is a bit fiddly but clips on for safety.

Love this cage, very easy to put together and is sturdy. Easy to get the lid on and off and very easy to clean. I love the fact we can extend by adding another one to it, which we will do when our guinea pigs start to get bigger.

Good value for money

I don’t find it sturdy at all, I even purchased cable ties to secure it more but still not the best. I like the fact the lid can be removed but the cage itself bends inwards and very fiddly to put together. If it’s moved the bits pop out the sides. Our pigs like

Loved the size. Fits perfectly for my 2 piggies. As other reviewers said, the canvas itself is an issue as the piggies have started staining them and chewing off them although i usually had a fleece and pee pads. Especially worse so on the ramp sides, likely one day the canvas on the ramp may be entirely eaten up by them lol. Aside, liked that it is open top, spacious and generally easy to build and maintain. Material seems to be durable as well. Hopefully it does not rust as easy. A little tad expensive though compared to other diy c&c cages.

I loved how the divided was movable to I have an area for food only and then play, I have to males and its just enough space for the two of them. It was super easy to put together and cleaning was no problem either. I will say putting down a layer of plastic or some sort of covering would be good over the canvas so it doesnt stain. the folding roof works great for ease of access and adaptability. I will say its not super sturdy but strong enough im not worried about an escape and its enough to keep our kitten out if he snuck down to the piggies. 10/10 worked great for me.

Parfait... Pratique facile à monter et solide...
