These have been very useful within my practise and good conversation starters with children and young people about feelings. Lovely design and well made. I am sure I will use these for years to come! I got these on offer so were good value for money and a nice size to include in my tool kit as they are small and light.

The media could not be loaded. This is really good, could be used in multiple ways, simply discussing the feeling cubes, playing the games, using the cubes to tell stories, all the variants are illustrated, but if you have worked with children you will be able to adapt this without any difficulty to suit the ages of the children and their needs.The poster could be put up in a friendship corner, ie two bean bags and the poster behind it. I did this in one classroom and if someone has feeling sad or lonely etc they could go sit in the corner and other children would go over and ask them what was wrong etc, helping to increase emotional intelligence for the taker and the receiver. Meant children self regulated their behaviour, fostered team mentality etc ...The poster does cover a range of emotions and the language development with this toy will be superb in use.Ideal for home and classroom use.I really do like this toy, I have taken a pic of the leaflet so you can see the suggestions for use if you zoom in and this should help with your decision as to whether to buy it. The jumbo size of the dice and the fact that they can be used as story cubes makes it a good gift, but with the added bonus of being about feelings/emotions. Children always love to use dice, it's the chance element. (Not enough board games being played at home anymore - they are really good for children - sharing, learning about winning and losing - which builds resilence) - although there is no winning and losing with this, just building emotional intelligence - ABSOLUTELY FAB!For me this would definitely be a resource I could have used in the classroom and one I would use at home if any of my grandchildren had issues with their emotions, feelings and behaviour. Even if they don't it will help with vocabulary buidling, empathy, emotional intelligence and story telling skillsVery Happy to Recommend - would actually make a great gift, but perhaps not your usual type of Christmas gift! Run it by the parents, if they are fussy! My children would understand why I had gifted it because I was a teacher, some wouldn't!

A good tool, but the emotions can be a bit confusing if the chart is not utilised, the cubes are though sturdy and a good weight.

These products require a bit of thought to use effectively, such as being aware of your target user and if they have the ability to follow through with the intended actions. You are probably looking at key stage 1 level of ability with these cubes given the nature of the content, maybe early key stage 2 level at a push.There is some example games to play with these, but I think there is enough here for some focused work. Although designed as a small group activity I think it can be used for 1:1 work too.I would suggest with 1:1 work that you offer the emotion dice to the young person when they are feeling an emotion that day quite strongly to pick it out directly rather than rolling it, it can then be used as a way of processing what has happened (you can then use other techniques or strategies as well).These things have limited use, you wouldn't be using this with a whole class, but where there is a need to build up knowledge in this area, I think with a bit of adaption this is a great tool.

These are very inviting tactile resource for little hands, they are a good size and have clear and identifiable images showing different feelings as well as some other illustrations to help you play a game. So this is a versatile tool that can help with learning activities and then as the children get a bit older can be used in a 1:1 scenario to play a game. These also came with some fantastic other resources the posters are great quality and mirror the images on the die.

It's not only reasonably priced but also offers great value for money. While it's recommended for ages 5 and above, my 21-month-old absolutely loves playing with it. The game effectively helps kids understand different emotions through play. A wonderful educational tool that transcends its age recommendation.

It has 7 wooden dice and they are very good quality and made from wood. 3 cubes are the emotion cubes which covers 18 different emotions while the other cubes are action cubes to tell a story, draw a scene or act it out and adding in characters.The activities in this easy-to-play game encourage children to develop mindfulness and awareness as they build essential interpersonal skills. This game is also a fun way to encourage creativity through storytelling.

A great tool for helping kids identify feelings - showing and reading. Making a game of it involves them and is more attractive than teaching this from a book. Well made materials.Can use them for random direction for "acting", or have a discussion about what is revealed. Make a game where the ultimate aim is to have rolled all six sides of a die. [Make a score card].Let the child play by themself and just (gently) observe how they react.Recommended tool for development.
