Hard to read on any background except white
Both colors are nearly impossible to read the numbers when the background is anything except bright white. Not going to work for what I needed. Will keep for the kids to use.

Works; attractive
You have to know up front I love gadgets and this one is a keeper. I've already used it for an unlabeled cake pan and it sprang back to its flat shape perfectly for convenient storage. I also appreciate having such a cheerful-looking ruler as I have to keep mine out in the open for lack of storage space.

Nicely flexible
My old flexible ruler finally had the numbers so worn off that it needed replacing. These are great and I hope last a good while.

Do not buy!
Inches are separated into 1/10ths, not 1/8ths like a normal ruler. Utterly useless for kids leaning about measurements.
