I'm not an expert but I did put do some research on these shoes and the type of material they use and from what I researched I couldn't find anything that said it contained it but you might want to answer the company that owns it

Q: why do they "shrink in the sun"?

I don’t have scientific training or credentials to answer this question. I bought these sandals and have been wearing them for almost 2 months. They are comprised of some sort of man made plastic, firm foam material. As a side note, they’re very comfortable and feel well made. Why would they shrink from being out in the sun? I’m guessing it would have to be after a very long time of exposure to high heat and direct sun, therefore that would happen because they’re made from a soft plastic, foam like material. This is my best guess.
