The Holy Spirit and Reality

I read this book back to back with John Owen's book on The Holy Spirit - the two complement each other VERY WELL and would recommend the same to the reader. I had read this book about 1 1/2 years earlier before reading John Owen's book on the Holy Spirit ..then read this one again and went back and forth between the two books during about a two month period. Much of what both Nee and Owen write on this subject in regard to how much one receives from their writings might depend on their own Personal Experiences (that was my case) ..in regard to how one relates to the writings. One might read them dogmatically or See that the writings might actually reflect the Experiences they've had with our Heavenly Father in Christ.

If you read it with an exercised spirit and an open heart, the words in the book are good help to bring you into a deeper experience of Christ. May the Spirit of reality guide you all readers into all the reality.

The Holy Spirit and Reality is a classic for those seeking to better understand the work and function of the Holy Spirit. Although not as well known as contemporary writers, Watchman Née does not espouse a particular religious denomination nor feel good platitudes. Née advocates the Triune God - The Cross of Christ, a just and loving God and the Holy Spirit which advances God' plan in this world. The Holy Spirit and Reality is for those who seek to know the true purpose of the Holy Spirit.

An excellent source by Watchman need about how to mature in the faith. It is very rich and deep and gives great insight (Scriptures) on what constitutes reality according to the Spirit of God. A great book for those interested in maturing in the faith.

How can you describe the writing of Watchman Nee, like this Spirit led challenge to the end of yourself to the Spirit led encouragement to plunge into the call of God

This is a small book adown and now I am getting reads far as amount of pages go but it is jammed packed with spiritual truth. I couldn't put the book down and now I am getting ready to read it again.

I really like the book however, as with everything Watchman Nee wrote it is sometimes so deep I have to re-read passages/paragraphs to "get it". But I highly recommend it.

I have not finished this book yet. But what I've read I love.Gotta finish it before I can give it an accurate rating.
