does what it supposed to ... but
Ok, I can't complain about something that is not offered. The holder I bought receives 4 AA batteries, I tried to see if I can use 1, 2 or 3, instead to accomplish different voltages, but it does not allow it to work without the four of them placed in the holder, which is not bad, but I have the idea to use it with different configurations without the need of buying different cases (is just for DIY projects), so it was my bad not to did the proper reasearch .... soooooo if you kind of have the same idea be aware of it.I have not tested the 8 holders I bought, but I asume they all works fine!

Great product, I've already used several in some of my projects, mounted in Amazon product: Electronics Enclosure Plastic Project Box with Tabs 7.31" x 3.75" x 2.08" , these have a tiny little ON/OFF slider switch that is integrated into the body on the back, with some creative fore-thought you can drill a 3/8" hole on the back of your project box and poise the battery holder so that the switch lines up with the hole and PRESTO, you are impressing the ladies...

Great for cosplay!!
Perfect for what iwas looking for. The covers are great but dont come with screws to lock them up. Great use for cosplayers who are looking to use electronic parts on there cosplay. The on and off switch is a great addition so it can cut off the current so it doesnt waste battery while you traveling with your items.

The springs are too small and weak.
The springs are too small and weak, the batteries can be loose very easily, not good and fit for DIY projects.

When I open my last box it is a used item send by Amazon. All wire is cut and missing no wire in the case.

Works great, get a screw for it. Switch is real nice.
These are exactly as in the ad. Strong, but there is a hole for a, not included, screw to hold it closed if dropped. I recommend getting a screw for it.

Good product, excellent value and it worked as intended. I made a hand held portable Styrofoam cutter and it worked perfectly.
