Scooby-Doo Classic Comics

I have to say, I hadn't bought anything before from Amazon.com before I bought this, however I ordered the CD on a Saturday and it arrived on a Wednesday; Amazon is very prompt in their delivery, as far as this product went and I have enjoyed it greatly so far.As a Scooby fan who started liking the characters and the show in the 90s, I was surprised to learn that there were Scooby comics and that they go as far back as the 70's; I was glad to learn that there was a way to purchase Scooby comics wihtout spending a fortune and I was more then happy to spend the amount of money the CD cost.I still feel that some of these comics would make great TV episodes, and it would very cool if that indeed happened, as some of these comic stories are TV quality; I highly recommend this for anyone who likes or loves Scooby and is annoyed with some of the poor quality of Scooby's TV adventures in recent years(*coughcoughGetACluecoughcough*).If you do buy this you will not be sorry and it will provide you with hours of great reading; take it from a Scooby fan, this is Scoobyriffic.

Unfortunately, even with two fairly highly educated guys shopping online, neither of us realized these were actual comic BOOKS and NOT VIDEO. Apparently we aren't that bright after all because...when it showed up, I was momentarily shocked and then it became crystal clear this was a CD-ROM that contained files with the actual comic book that you have to open on your laptop/desktop computer and read them. For the parent, this will temporarily bring back fond memories of flipping through the originals. But, then the reality sets in and you realize that there is no substitute for the real thing. Comics "online" will never replace the experience of flipping through the "real thing". I was terribly disappointed, but I am giving this as a gift to my 6 year old for Christmas. She loves Scooby and the gang, so I'm hoping she will like it and it will stimulate more reading.

Great item! Contains all 20 Gold Key issues of the classic Scooby-Doo comic book series. It looks like they did some digital cleanup, especially on the white margins of the pages, as the paper color on the margins looks pure white, without any signs of aged paper. But that is trivial, since overall the scan quality is excellent, and having these in PDF format makes it so easy to back up on your hard drive, or put on different devices. I bought this series because I always wanted the classic Scooby-Doo Gold Key issues, and now I have them all in a nearly indestructible format. There is even an option to print them, if you like. Very happy with this purchase!

We can finally answer the question- Scooby Doobie Doo Where Are You? It's here on this disc- that's where; at least the comics are anyway. Nice to see these back in print in any format. If the rights have reverted there wont be any other editions on disc though. If you like big talking dogs pick this up.

I always have been a big fan of the scooby doo comics and now that I have this cd-rom I can enjoy reading these comics over and over on my notebook. I would definately recommend this product to anyone who is a big fan and loves scooby Doo,

Very cool, as all the comics are as they described with stories, ads, etc... I actually have a couple of the comics books included (in pretty bad condition) and they were identical. Shipping was fast as usual with Amazon.
