I AM THE RIB KING NOW
Oh my GOODNESS this dry rub is good. I season my ribs with it, put them in sealable bags and let them sit in the fridge for a couple days so the flavor can soak in. Right before I put them in my oven, I sprinkle a little on them, then watch as the heat from the oven causes the rub to be absorbed by the ribs. Do yourself a favor, if you like/love ribs, buy as much of this as you can and couple it with Stubbs BBQ sauce. I have two racks of ribs baking right now. Can't wait to get into them.

Wayward Gourmet Makes It Easy!
I am not someone who allocates a lot of time for cooking. I have a busy schedule and other things that take up the majority of my time. As a result of that, I'm very far from being anything remotely resembling a professional cook. With that being said, these rubs make my meals taste like professionally, creatively and thoughtfully prepared dishes! I love how easy it is to add a good rub and instantly have a meal that is bursting with flavor. This one from Wayward Gourmet, "Applewood Smoked BBQ Awesomeness," is one such example. It added some nice pizzazz to a BBQ chicken dish I made recently, and my wife used it to make some amazing beans. She told me the recipe was a secret, but the one ingredient she did disclose was this new rub we purchased.I love the variety that Wayward Gourmet offers. Aside from this one, we have also tried Steak Your Claim, Sweet Heat, Hey Jerk, and my personal favorite, Maple Chipotle Mashup, which really jazzed up my standard BBQ chicken recipe. I would highly recommend these rubs to anyone, but most specifically, I would really recommend them to people like myself who don't have a lot of time on their hands but would like to still enjoy interesting and delicious meals, without having to rack your brain to figure out what mixture of spices will compliment your dish. Wayward Gourmet makes it easy!

Very good flavor, just right.
So we had a graduation party and while prepping the menu, i came across this rub. It had good reviews so I thought, why not give it a try. Meat of choice was chuck roast from actual butcher, not store bought. I washed the meat, rubbed kosher salt on it and let it sit in fridge for 2 hours, i then pulled the meat out of the fridge and rubbed this seasoning generously on the meat, wrapped it in saran wrap and let it sit for 36 hours. Day of party i pulled the meat out, got the smoker ready at 210 F(big steel keg, no longer made but awesome smoker) and put meat in about 50 degrees at that point(not room temp but running short of time) I let cook until internal temp was at 160, about 4 hours. At that point, I wrapped it in tin foil and turned the heat up slightly to 230. after 6 hours it was now at an internal temp of 190, party was getting close so i turned it up to 285 to finish the cook. Pulled meat at 195 and placed in cooler with towels for about an hour. Pulled meat and served. I mentioned the way i did this because this was by far the best smoke i have done. The rub was just about perfect. I like things spicy so it is hard for me, at times, not to serve food too spicy for the guest. Not one complaint but tons of compliments. I used about half a jar on 2 3.5 lb chucks.

Summer gathering gone right!
I gave this BBQ seasoning a try after several failed attempts at making my own spice rub for my smoked meats I like to smoke for friends and family. This past weekend I had the normal crew over for some hang. I make pretty much use the same thing every time but this time I used sweet heat seasoning and didn’t tell anyone. Ribs, chicken, and pulled pork came off the smoker and dinner was served. Everyone talked about how my new spice rub was good. I never told anyone it wasn’t mine... Chef’s secret. Shhhhh

Another Delicious Rub from Wayward Gourmet!
This is another winner from Wayward Gourmet. I don't generally allocate a lot of time in my day for cooking or being creative with meal preparation, which is one way of saying I'm not a very inspired cook. However, these rubs make it taste like I really know what I'm doing, and moreover, like I love to cook. The blends are thoughtful and versatile. So far I have used Steak Your Claim on steak and hamburgers, both to delicious effect that the whole family was impressed by. I love how easy it is to add one of these rubs for instant flavor that stands out and excites the taste buds.We have tried several of Wayward Gourmet's rubs and have found great uses for all of them. Others I would recommend include Applewood Smoked BBQ Awesomeness, Sweet Heat, Hey Jerk and Maple Chipotle Mashup. While I would highly recommend these rubs to anyone that enjoys tasty food, I would especially recommend them to folks like myself who don't have the time, patience or experience to get creative in the kitchen. This is a huge (and delicious) time saver!

Great flavor
I purchased 3 dry rubs at the same time. This one, Cowboy crust from Spiceology and Cowboy Rub from June Moon. All three were fantastic but this one beat them out. Definitely worth the purchase!

Omg 10/10 recommend
Omg so good. I was looking for a coffee based run to use on some steaks and beef in general. When I opened it the smell was a little cumin-forward so I was concerned it’d overpower the coffee and cocoa in there but the taste when it’s cooked is perfection! * I think it could have a stronger coffee flavor and be great but this is a good compromise and probably tastes good to a wider range of taste buds. Amazing. One of the best packaged seasoning blends I’ve bought and such a unique flavor.

Everything we love about Mexico...it's in this jar!
It is hard to achieve an authentic Mexican flavor without a ton of work when making tacos or burritos or enchiladas. Let your meat marinate in salsa and spices then dump the whole thing in your slow cooker. If you are grilling the meat, use this as a dry rub. Play with it... you will be amazed where this jar will take you!
