Dash Cam Remote, Event Lock/Snapshot/Audio Control

connected seamlessly to my Vantrue E1 Pro dashcam......a great addition to my new dashcam....enables the driver to take an instant photo at hte press of a button rather than bungling around to press the correct button on the dashcam to do so.....also enables teh driver to turn the recording sound on an off at the simple press of a button......adds a much needed convenience to a most wonderful dashcam....

I love this remote over the voice activated features on most dash cams. You can stick it wherever you like and it’s real easy to turn on or off the audio recording. This is really useful because I don’t want anyone who viewed the videos to hear me singing along to the radio or hearing my audiobook choice of the day.LOL The great thing is if something happens and you want to record it most dash cams don’t really record license plates clearly if the vehicles are moving or they’re in low light or bad weather, etc. So I can quickly hit the top half of this remote to turn on voice recording and speak the license plate so that it’s part of the record. And then I can turn it back off and go back to warbling off key. The lower and larger half of the button will save a snippet of video as well as a photo.

Works for the Nexus 4S. It syncs together easily and works better than having to reach under your camera to push the button. Definitely would buy again

Super easy to set up with the Vantrue E1 Pro. By default, the videos go to a different folder when you hit the button. That's fine, just remember to look for a different folder when you want to review. Decent value for the money, I've had zero issues. Great size - I put it near the drive shift and cup holders. Looks great, almost like another button in the car's assembly of buttons.

THE best purchase for my Vantrue N5. NO pairing is even required, it just automatically connects to the nearest dash cam. The double-sided foam tape also makes for nearly endless mounting options. There are only two features of this remote, but they are all you will need: 1) mark file as important so it isn't deleted (triangular icon with exclamation point), and 2) turn the device microphone on or off. This makes accessing those crucial camera functions so much easier while driving, and keeps your eyes on the road! Getting on for my other vehicles next month, happy customer.

It just works. I didn’t have to sync or do anything to connect it. I just pressed the button and it worked. Great job. I don’t have to reach for the camera itself if I want to save something or turn off/on the mic.

after the purchase I was satisfied. worked great with the n4 Pro S recorder, but after 4 months it simply stopped working. replacing the battery does not help. the indicator does not light up although everything is intact and not damaged. the cause of the breakdown could not be found out. although the thing needed
