Van Helsing: Season One [DVD]

It was ,to my opinion about 75% there...it does come across as a bit low budget & a bit slow, it picks up in the last few episodes & since there are 5 seasons so far I decided to stick with it onto season 2 , I'm glad I did, it gets better as it goes on. If you're a fan of vampire stuff you'll enjoy it.

I never really got any further than the middle of Season 1. What i saw i liked and i will revisit it. I just happened to get into Wynona Earp at the same time which appealed to me more. I got sidetracked by a few other series but don't let that put u off. This is top of my next to watch list

Walking Dead with vampires that take advantage of a volcano erupting and filling the sky with ash, so blocking out the sun. But then every episode has clear skies and lovely sunny days and the vampires still prosper! .. All the men are knuckle dragging idiots. The women are of course super smart and logical, showing the men how it should be done? There`s enough ethnic range so as not to offend anyone. It`s garbage tbh.. The fight scenes are often in the dark so you can`t see anything. The story has more holes than a politicians election speech. Makes Buffy look like a documentary it`s that flawed. No way am I wasting money on season two.

Personally I had never heard of the show before looking through amazon for something new to watch and this came up I was sceptical at first but i thought why the heck might as well get it well I'm glad that I did the first episode isn't hard selling one but held its own with action and I felt like It was ok second episode so on it gets better the gore gets more advanced and the script is well written action is fantastic and the acting is very well done towards the 4th episode it has you hooked you want more... More of that gore the Dramatically different and ever-changing twisting and cliff hanger what's next! plot I swiftly ordered the second season and am now thoroughly a van helsing fan

Zombie vampire apocalypse and the last surviving humans seem more eager to kill each other than the vampires do. What do I think? An odd series in many ways but constant grating stupidity is the taste it left in my mouth. Nothing intelligent or original.The dialogue is cliche'd. the plot thin,. characters 2D (to be polite), production budget was obviously low. The parts are undemanding and at least the actors deliver there. The whole thing seems to have been put together by teenagers with little life experience beyond role playing, looking for bonus points gained with stupidity, gore, dead bodies; extra if excessive or repetitive.It will be in the discount bin soon. If you like this genre, you may find a few good moments but most can pass this by without worrying they may have missed anything good. There is so much out there VERY much better than this.

I did think I would like this series but its actually a good story , you got to have a strong stomach though but its really good.

Its just okUPDATE on further watching it's a fab series I will get the other series
