Now I can leave patio door open a little, even when going out, with the knowledge that my house is safe. My sliding door is locked on vent. Would highly recommend this product.

If you are looking for something to prevent doors and/or windows to be restricted in their opening so kids cannot "escape" on the insider or to prevent access by undesireables from the outside, then this is the product for you. It is easy to fit, strong and very useable. When fitted and in use the window or door would probably break before the restrictor would! I was so pleased with the product I decided to buy another from the same seller - White Hinge Ltd - who provides excellent service.

Great and cheaper than I had found elsewhere online, I am a carpenter so hopefully know what I'm talking about. Plus the supplier was very responsive with an issue I put to them, so I'll be both recommending these to customers and fitting them on all the windows in the ground floor flat my daughter is buying! (The screws may be a tad long for some situations, but simply replace with another good quality screw)
