Great way to add undetectable carbs to shakes.
This is worth it to me simply because the carbs disappear in liquid without any trouble, so I can add it to my morning coffee + protein drink without it getting gritty or chunk. There doesn't seem to be a noticeable flavor, which is great too. Adding the carbs to my morning drink directly before working out has solved my nausea issues!

It sure is a big thing of carbs.
It functions just fine for what it is - a big jar of carbohydrates - and mixes easily and without drastically changing the flavor of what you mix it into... provided you're making really quite a bit. The serving size for this stuff is RIDICULOUS at 4 hefty scoops. Obviously, you're not obligated to use that much - and I doubt one's body could effectively metabolize that much all at once regardless. A half-serving is still quite a bit in a 8-12oz shake that has anything else in it (protein, supplements, etc)It's a big ol' cheap jar of easy-mix carbs. Hard to criticize because there isn't much to it. Five stars of plain simple effectiveness.

Set your own dosage levels
I'm not a fan of these manufacturers and sellers telling us how to use their product because their view is biased toward selling the most amount of product, possibly at our expense. This container recommends 4 scoops but that would be too much for most people.Start with one scoop and increase it until you get the boost you're looking for.One thing, I'd recommend getting the flavored variety because the unflavored one tastes like hot sweat in your bottle. Ick.This product has one ingredient; Maltodextrin, which is a highly processed white powder form of rice, corn, wheat or potato starch which explains why it's so cheap. It's not a sweet sports beverage as we're accustomed to.Your body will process it quickly as a quick source of energy and one gram contains 4 calories; about the same as sugar or sucrose. It digests quickly to get fuel to your muscles which is why it's common in sports drinks and it may even fight colorectal cancer because it promotes bacterial fermentation and improves digestion. (Source is webmd.com)Don't use this if you're trying to lose weight because it's high in sugar and salt and low in fiber but it's suitable for athletes looking for a boost.Anyhow, figure out your dosage levels from your experience.

Pump Up!!
Pleased with product so far. I have very low carb lifestyle therefore I use this product as a pre-workout application. I get enhanced muscle pumps, endurance, and recovery. Very noticeable. I will purchase Cyto again.

Clear cut, obvious results with little or no drawback
It's always been hard for me to assess results, especially when it comes to energy levels. I've never been good at setting down a pattern to the extent that I can trace its consequences. This is due to a huge number of factors, but mostly because I'm still young and irresponsible and bad at nurturing great habits and quashing bad ones. That said, landscaping has been a key for me in terms of energy assessment. I have a literal, direct result from using this complex carbohydrate powder: I worked a day of landscaping (which means ~15 hours from 6:30am until sunset, then finishing my paperwork) and then I went out to the bars until 5am. This would, literally, have been impossible six months ago. This job just crashes me completely--it's difficult to describe the grave of sleep I enter after a day or three of work.Anyway, the point is, this stuff gives me energy like nothing I've ever experienced before--sustained energy that is not just bodily energy but mental energy, not jittery or manic and with apparently no crash, although I feel that in reality it's probably just a severely minimized crash because I think by definition everything has a "crash," a period from which one's body must "come down" from an energy supply.

Helpful!
This has really helped me at the gym. I'm hypoglycemic and my blood sugar tends to drop on hard workout days. I mix a couple of scoops with creatine and some whey isolate...now I normally don't get shaky while lifting.
