**Q: Will 1 rolll do 4x4 room**
A: 4x4 = 16. As you haven’t mentioned what units, I’ll assume meter’s. If that is the case, then it may not be sufficient. However if the room has alcoves and there is a large area that would be waste, it may be enough.  Hope this helps.

**Q: Fire retardant? What heat is this rated for?**
A: The hot kind

**Q: What is the density rating?**
A: Not sure but quality underlay very bouncy even the carpet fitters commented

**Q: Can you use standard gripper on 12 mm underlay or do you have to use longer  gripper size**
A: Worked OK with standard gripper for hallway.
Too thick to use on stairs.
