Q: Are these strong magnets? i am not sure, as i try to slowly get to max rpm's and it spins out some of the time.

Not sure your application on why you need max RPM... I am doing yeast starters for home brew. For me it works perfectly with a 3000ml beaker. With yeast I shouldn’t do max RMP with my stir plate. All I need is slow and steady with a small vortex.
