925 Silver Sterling Opal Studs Earrings for Womens CZ Ball Pearl Style Artificial Jewellery

First of all, I'd like to say what a great little set this is to have in your jewellery wardrobe.The earrings are all very well made, and the styles are staples that no girl should be without - and I especially love the little rub-set CZ pair that are just the perfect size to make everyone wonder if you're wearing diamonds.Now - and here's the problem - what exactly are they made of???They look and feel like Sterling Silver. Indeed, each earring is stamped with 925 so they SHOULD be sterling silver...The product description is claiming they are silver-plated copper, however... and if you scroll down even further, it says they are stainless steel!This doesn't bother me too much, but some people may have a reaction to them if they are NOT silver.Until this is clarified, I cannot give the 5 stars this set would normally warrant.Presentation is fairly good. All four pairs come in a very 'Tiffany-esque' velvet drawstring pouch, with each individual set arriving in its own tiny plastic popper bag.

Bargain for the price but the metal pins are difficult to put on and undo so few of the earrings are already bent. Shame...hence two stars only
