If you've laid out this much for a laptop, this is the best clumsiness insurance money can buy. Especially useful if you travel like I do - this will take all the bumps and knocks so that this laptop keeps on working.

Excellent product, fits perfectly, getting the screen in at the top may need a little effort just to get it all the way in. Once the case is on it can be a little tricky connecting the screen back into the base in the screens upright position due to the keyboard cases protective springy part at the back however I've a workaround for that, I have no issues reconnecting the screen simply by taking the screen off and putting it back on with it angled towards me around 45°, if you have any issues you can close it further until it works for you. You can also move the springy part out the way by hand if it is in the way. Overall I'm very happy with the quality and I'm confident of it's protective capability.

I have a Surface Book 2 13" version bought in February 20. Although I loved this product I had some issues with it similar to a previous reviewer mentioned. With the tablet part I have not been able to fit it properly no matter how much pushing and pulling. Due to this there is a slight mis-alignment with the headphone socket which makes it very difficult to connect my headphones. The locking mechanisms are moulded rubber and the left one doesn't engage properly which may happen if I haven't fitted it properly. The base has a bungee "rubber band" that sits over the Surface base to hold it in place but this has come away from its anchor and now just flops. The instructions say it is not necessary for some models. Also on the base on the inside are rubber inserts that act as rubber feet on the outside and the instructions indicate they can be removed for thicker models. I removed them to see if it would help with my fitting problems but it didn't. However, now I cannot get them back in. The rubber case covers and protects the power and volume buttons on the top of the Surface. Here again I have an issue as I have to press the buttons quite firmly to get a contact which may be if I haven't fitted it properly. The case makes the whole unit feel much heavier but that wasn't an issue for me personally. Finally I love the pen holder as my pen is not official and does not stick magnetically to the Surface very well. I will be returning this item but intend re-ordering to see if I have a better fit next time

Excellent product but adds a lot of chunk to laptop but worth doing

Does not fit Surface Book 3. Tablet part will not align and is too tight. Pen compartment is so tight I can't put the pen in and afraid to damage it. Hinge cover is flimsy and flaps around. Lock only works sometimes and on one side only. I'm afraid to use it or put it on again as it might damage the device.

The case is well built and protects my laptop but ever since purchasing it my laptop keeps overheating so I cannot recommend this case to anyone.

Great case. When you spend so much on a laptop you want something to keep it safe. I haven't dropped it but I feel better for having it on. The case feels sturdy and fits well. It also is nice to hold and carry. Love the way it connects the screen and keyboard and they can be separated.
