Lovely design, but after 2 yrs the metal base and glass body seem to be separating
I bought this for both the design and the size. And being transparent it is easy to judge fills of water to be economic. Aesthetically it is very attractive. I used it with a flame disperser underneath to reduce the direct heat on it when boiling. When boiling the kettle is so compact the handle can get hot. Being transparent it's easy to see any deposits on the glass. If you have small hands cleaning is not to difficult with a non-abrasive cleaner, but over time there are deposits that refuse to let go. After about 1 year the lid on mine started to bubble. I assume it's chromed steel. It hasn't come off bit it's lost its early gleam. It's now exactly 2 years old and has been used pretty much every day but sadly I think it's life is at an end. Sadly it now has a crack (no idea how) so now I must dispose of it before there's a risk of catastrophic breakage. Pity as I liked it. So much so that I'll buy another one!

A nice teapot, but beware of the lid
This is a stylish teapot that pours really cleanly, without drips. I do find, however, that the metal knob on the lid gets very hot and as the lid is, unfortunately, only a simple thin steel pressing, it does get stuck easily and I need to use something heat resistant to get enough grip to be able to remove it. It is my first glass teapot and I had not realised that it would show tea stains badly after just a small number of uses. It does clean up nicely in the dishwasher.June 2017: added a star after learning that 3* is regarded can be regarded as an unfavourable review which was not my intention - we use the teapot every day and are happy with it.

High Quality and Aesthetically pleasing teapot!
This glass teapot with food grade stainless steel strainer is ideal for tea for two. The glass is high quality as is the strainer. The unit has a stainless steel base as well allowing it to be used on an induction hob. I spent a lot of time looking at various teapots on Amazon... most did not have an aesthetic design like this teapot does. Some of the English text on the side of the box didn't translate well so its guaranteed to give you a giggle as well. We are really quite pleased with this teapot and recommend it highly!

Not fit for purpose 😕
The media could not be loaded. A wonderful looking teapot but unfortunately leaked upon it's first use, which was a real shame. A full refund offered and issued without any quibbles

brilliant tea pot
I ordered two of these one for myself and one for my son. Sadly his had a fault but it is being replaced as the seller was most concerned and could not have foreseen the problem. I am so pleased as mine is in use and is wonderful. Great size, great quality, very good value

Tea tastes great but a crack developed round the handle.
Like the design and infuser large enough to give tea a good flavour. After less than 5 months use a crack developed round the bottom part of the handle . Tea did not spill out but I do not use it anymore in case the handle comes off! I wish I'd bought from a High Street shop as I would defintely take it back.

Good product
Works on induction hob, cleans easily and in general good. The only drawback it heats up very fast, tried on different temperature level and it just goes from warm to boiling in few seconds.
