Some small niggles outweighed by superb sound.
This is a very responsive guitar, and has delightful clarity throughout the tonal spectrum. Out of the box, It did require a setup and, although the build quality is very good, I was disappointed that the edges of frets 12 onwards hadn’t been smoothed properly. Also disappointing was an unglued small corner of the pick guard. Small niggles notwithstanding, this is a superbly sounding instrument for the money.

Great guitar, this is a lifer :-)
Uuummm. how I got this guitar for £340 I do not know. Normally around £750. It's an awesome guitar for bluegrass. I have played a few martins, and they are lovely, but this thing is up there! All solid wood, and it's really nicely made! Very very happy with this!

Wrong guitar
I saw this is an used Blueridge BR140 so that's why I bougth this. But the one came was BR40. They are very different. The BR40 is nice actually but at this price I can buy a new one, not a used

Lovely guitar.
An absolutely lovely guitar - old-school body, BUT a modern neck: long, thin & narrow, excellent for someone coming from a Les Paul or a Stratocaster, but no good for my crude finger-styling. Anybody want mine..?? [email protected]
