Gas Tank Lift Kit 2" Tank Lift for XL883 XL1200 Irons Nightsters 1995-UP

These are cheap junk ! Threads are to short for a solid purchase of the fastener to the tank mount also they sloppily tack weld a washer as a stop which 1 is very weak and will break with the aggressive Harley idle shake / vibration & 2 they leave the slag visible ! Save your money and go by some simple flat brackets

Was excited to purchase, they looked okay when I recieved them, had the black wrinkle finish to match some parts and everything, but threads stripped on both the top and bottom after riding around town for the day, then came to see that each lift was bending, uninstalled .ended up going over to DKCustoms and purchasing their kit along with other modifications like the coil and ingnition relocation. Could not be happier now. buy at your own risk.

threads are garbage and did not fit my bike like the description stated and does not look all that great. i went with stainless steel u-bolt brackets (the flat part obviously) cost me $6 and they fit like they should. the only reason i did not return this POS is because the threads stripped while attempting to install.

The item arrived very fast and in excellent shape. The product itself appeared very sturdy with quality paint and the fitment was on point. I highly recommend this item to anyone looking for a lift kit for a fraction of the cost.

JUNK !!! First off it doesn't fit. The bolts that go thru the rubber grommet for the tank are to short. Cheap junk I should have known better.

my bike is explicitly listed as compatible... and nearly every sportster ive ever seen has the same tank mount. so there is no excuse for how poorly this fits.
