This Italian company from Trieste got its start when that part of the world was in the Austrian Empire. They sell what we've found to be smooth yet robustly flavored beans that can be called "the best of both coffee worlds." Recommended.

Excellently smooth coffee, with a nice nutty flavor, and mild bitterness. Goes especially well with milk, but is low in acidity. More of a dessert or after meal coffee, than a breakfast, wake me up coffee. . .

Amazing flavour, perfect for my coffee machine, not bitter and much better with a dash of cream rather than full fat milk

Hausbrandt ist die beste Firma, aber verkauft in Deutschland nicht den besten Kaffee. Aus den verkauften ist Columbus der beste.Der Kaffe ist zu bitter, nicht süss, aber auch nicht säuerlich, wie die Konkurrenz. Laut Lavazza und Illy, die speziel saurige Kaffees für Deutschland herstellen (so ein Geschmack hierzulande).... wird der Kaffe einem Durschnittsdeutchen nicht schmecken. Keine Säure drin. Nur tiefe und dunkle Bitterkeit.Ich vermische den Kaffe mit Jemenkaffe (auch manchmal auf Amazon zu bekommen) und mit anderen Hausbrandt Kaffees (nur Arabicas - vergiss Robusta) um einen normalen Kaffegeschmack zu bekommen.
