Roosevelt Dam (Images of America) Paperback – Illustrated, March 9, 2009

This is a black and white picture book describing the making of the Roosevelt Dam. It is a good historical book of photos taken from a number of sources documenting the period. It is nice to remember a time when Americans were a hard working people designing and constructing great feats of engineering design. Back when we had a great President (T.R.), who cared about his country and thought well into the future for its well being. Sadly, these are only memories now of what we once were...
