This is a nice clock with a few weird issues that keep it at a 4-star rating. The display and the clock itself look great. There are three brightness settings, but from what I can tell, you have to pick one. It doesn't seem to change on its own based on ambient light. The connector in the back sticks up at an angle, making it easily visible. It comes with a short cord, maybe 18-24 inches, that has one adapter-type end that plugs into the clock, and the other end is a male USB. You will need a USB adapter, like from a phone, to actually plug it into the wall. I also recommend getting a USB extension cable, unless you'll be keeping the clock right next to an outlet. From what I understand, there is an internal battery that will keep your settings if the clock loses power. I left the AAA battery compartment empty, because I keep it plugged in. Other reviews say it dies fast if you try to power it with AAAs. There are only three buttons on the back, and you have to go through a long sequence to change the alarms or turn them on/off. There are three alarm slots available for programming, but you can turn them on/off individually. I only use one. The alarm tone is loud enough to wake me up, but it's not ridiculously loud. All in all, it looks nice and is worth the low price.

Like it very much. Clear white illuminated LED display on my black model. Blends in nicely with my TV table. I don't need the alarm function so won't test it.This display is bright enough during the day and can be seen clearly from at least 20 feet away. There are 3 brightness settings. At night it dims automatically.Be aware that this clock needs 4 AAA batteries for settings backup or for the temporary showing of the time/date/temperature but is not designed to stay illuminated continuously on battery power.If you want the display to be always illuminated, you need to connect it to a USB power source or the batteries will fade quickly. It comes with the USB cable but not a POWER ADAPTER. I plug mine in to a separately purchased USB 2-port charger (used for smartphones & other USB electronics) and it's plugged into an electrical outlet so the LED display is always illuminated. The clock batteries are just for keeping the settings if there is a power outage at the house.UPDATE 07-17-2018The LED temperature display is about 1 1/2 to 2 degrees higher compared to another, probably more accurate, liquid thermometer. Also, the display shows some temperature in even numbers only . . . 80, 82, 84 . . . . etc.The LED clock loses about 45 seconds per month and needs to be manually adjusted to keep the time accurate.I consider these to be minor inconveniences & don't change my rating. I like the clock, overall, very much.

It does not work with batteries. It drains them in one day. Apparently, it only works with the USB plug. I haven't tried that yet because I don't need a clock by my computer. Computers HAVE CLOCKS. What's the point of this power supply? The directions claim that it's not compatible with all batteries and to try different batteries and that will fix the problem. Well, let me tell you what batteries this is not compatible with: Duracell, Energizer, and Amazon Basics. So what are these batteries it is supposedly compatible with? The directions are usable if poorly translated and it is pretty. If you want a clock by your computer or to buy an extension cord with a USB outlet, then maybe this clock is for you. I'm out 12 batteries and am having to look at buying a $15 extension cord to use a $24 clock.

I really like this clock. I got it to put on my desk, and (believe it or not) was more interested in the date feature than the time. It is handy to see the big day of the week and date right there in front of me. Clock appears to be accurate, although it is easy enough to set if it drifts off by more than a minute or two.I am powering it through an AC adaptor so the clock stays on and it's plenty bright. THe cable that comes with it has a straight connector on it which prevents tucking the clock back. I found a 5V power adapter from an unused USB hub and I am using that, so I can push the clock further back.All in all, I am very happy with the clock in terms of functionality and appearance and recommend it to others.

The media could not be loaded.  At first I was a little skeptical about this clock but, I actually love it.!!! I returned the first one I bought because it was set as military time and I didn't and it was too light for me even at the dimmest setting.. This clock has a sleep feature which I love love love especially because I like to sleep in the dark. I really love the fact that it shows date, and temperature in the room. Speaker would of been an amazing additional feature but I have nothing to complain about because it fills in all important boxes on my list.

This clock is AWESOME! I had no idea wooden clocks like this existed and had to buy one as soon as I saw it! It’s a very neat idea and looks great! It appears to be all one piece of wood with the clock hardware inside and the front etched on the inside for the numbers. Programming it isn’t bad and it runs very long on battery life. My only wish is that it came in a larger size!

Nice looking/seems like good quality & really like slanted face but...Doesn’t stay on/Don’t know how long batteries will last/Wish there was a way to change date to end with year instead of beginning (eg: 18.04.16 - 04.16.18)/Dim isn’t as dim as it could be

More or less as expected. I have a feeling that description photos are a little wider than it really is, so better check out the size! (haven't got a ruler but it is described as 3.1 x 6 x 2.8 inches in the main page) Also, the cord length is about a meter long, so you would want a USB plug nearby.No matter what, I enjoy this product. The item adds extra modernity in my room interior.
