I don't have a fully connected "smart home" but I bought this thinking the timer and remote features could be handy to save energy. At first it worked fine but after a couple months I noticed I could not override the timer by pressing the manual power button on the unit - the only way to turn on an outlet that had "timed out" was to access the app and turn it on remotely. As far as I'm concerned that's a design fail - if I'm sitting right next to the power strip I should be able to turn it on without finding my phone! I was able to "fix" the issue by disabling the app and effectively turning the power strip back into a "dumb" appliance but that of course undermines the whole point of having a smart power strip.

This is a Jinvoo product being sold under a different name. You download the app Tuya, not Smart Life. This company seems to be selling their products and creating the same app under different names, which are all garbage. Jinvoo app wants access to your contacts for some odd reason and Tuya connected once, then kept saying the device was offline. Had I known it was Jinvoo I never would have ordered because I have already returned their junk products before.

Works great! I have this connected to 2 bedroom side table lamps and a fan. Great to be able to turn these on and off via the iPad or Amazon Echo. Set up is easy. You name the strip - ie “bedroom” and then each plug - (left lamp, right lamp, fan). Alexa recognizes them all. Great price compared to individual plug controls.

It is a great plugI used this to control TV, speaker, magnifier. All plugged on it.The socket wholes are carefully covered when not in use, so it is really safe for toddlers.It uses 2.4G band, and very easy to setup on your phone.

Amazing product that using apps to control the buttons! I will prefer download the 'Smart Life' app directly from the app store and then register, log in with the WiFi. Nothing more for setting and you can control which one you want to use since the button can control individually. My mom often use the computer without turn off the screen which is my daily job. with it I can do directly from my phone in my bedroom instead of turn it off physically.

It's amazing ! I really like this. It's so convenient to have these usb and outlets on my nightstand. It's not necessary to get up from my warm bed and power off staff now. It works with echo and easy connection. Highly recommend this power strip

This works great if you have several items to hook up to your Alexa device.

Don't buy doesn't work after thirty days you'll get unresponsive error. Don't buy anything electronic Amazon does not support nor sell directly or have there name attached to. Unless you want the run around with the manufacturer. Wow what a P.O.S.
