It’s fairly easy to install and easy to set up so long as you follow what the app tells you to do.You have to subscribe to the cloud service if you want to record as it doesn’t take an sd card so that’s not great as it’s quite expensive given my bank charges me fees as well.The picture is great when the light is on but not when it’s off during the night, it’s grainy and you can’t really see much.If still recommend it just don’t expect the great nightvision like the other netvue cameras have.

The media could not be loaded.  I've wanted a flood light camera for a few years now since I first seen them but the idea of spending £250 or more on one didn't appeal since I needed at least 3 of them to replace my existing flood lights.So when I seen this Netvue flood light camera which is more affordable and offers 24/7 video recording, unlike the more expensive £250 one I seen and was looking at which only records on motion I thought I would grab it.Well I am so impressed with the clear colour images the flood light camera gives at night and video playback that I have since replaced all my flood lights with these flood light camera's.They are incredibly bright, much brighter than my previous flood lights and I now have the ability to set the time the flood light stays on from the Netvue app, which saves me climbing a ladder like I used to have to do when tweaking timer settings on lights.If I have friends over for a garden party I can now just turn the flood light on from the app, instead of having someone waving their arms around every 3 minutes to activate the motion sensor to turn the light back on.The thing I really like about the flood lights as well as recording video and sound so I can download and save funny moments from garden parties is the ability to have the video from the flood light cams stream to my fire TVs or echo spots by asking Alexa to show the camera.The flood light camera has two way audio which can be used to either deter a potential break in when you see someone on your property who shouldn't be there or it can be used just to talk to family in the garden using the Netvue app.Two of my flood lights were covering areas of the house I didn't have camera's, so being wifi flood light camera's this has fixed my house blind spot issues and the video streaming is sharp and clear.No one will even know these are home security camera's so anyone trying to break in are going to look up at the light when it goes on and give you a nice clear picture of their face to be used as evidence.Unlike a home security camera with infrared night vision which can white wash someones face out making it impossible to tell who the person is, since the flood light camera gives colour to pictures at night it's a much better camera for night time.It does however have infrared night vision for recording the scene when the motion sensor hasn't yet been triggered to turn on the LED light.To see or listen to the full video of me testing my flood light cameras, say ALEXA ENABLE SMART HOME VIDEOS to watch it on your Fire TV, Echo Spot or Echo Show.

It is a shame that I have had to go as 1 star to rate this product and company. After purchasing the floodlight in February 2018, paying for installation, buying a WiFi extender and still failing to get it to work - I finally gave up in August 2018 - It is simply a pile of poop....First of all, it is NOT designed for UK installation - so do not buy it for the UK market - Amazon should be ashamed of themselves for allowing it.Connection to WiFI, well, my router is about 5 feet from the camera - and it would not connect as to far away?I bought a WiFI extender hoping this would solve the issue - still unable to connect to WiFi ??I sent emails - no response ???I talk to Customer [sic] support, their main advice is to restart the router, the phone, the extender, my life - How many times can you restart something ????Avoid at all costs as there are far better products out on the market

I have tried out this cam/floodlight and found it to be excellent quality with great results. However it turned out to be too bulky for my personal use and sadly had to return. This in no way is the fault of netvue who I have since purchased a smaller option. It also works well with Amazon Alexa

Would give it zero if I could !!Purchased 2 for front and rear of property.Paid £80 to have electrician install wiring.Can not get them to connect at all, disabled 5ghz on router, installed bt whole home Wi-fi to mitigate any Wi-fi issues and to ensure a robust Wi-fi system was in placeStill unable to connect.What I do have is the rear light illuminates whenever it wants and there is a cyclical clown noise that is emitted every 2 hours day and night!!!Had countless conversations with netvue with no joyFurthermore the product on amazon.com has been withdrawn / suspended from saleSome internet digging suggests that some reviews are spuriousAmazon uk will refund but what amI supposed to do with live exposed wiring and the fact I now have redundant wiring as a result of this failed product ?!!

The Netvue floodlight and camera did not disappoint. I bought the product because it aligned with "Alexa".It was a good choice, the floodlight illuminates my whole drive and the picture quality is A+. I did have a problem with the sound but customer service helped me eliminate the problem.

Brought this to provide detection and security at my mums as she had a recent attempted break-in.Installation was pretty easy and so was the set-up. Initially motion detection during the day worked. However on the first night the lights just kept turning on and off for no reason - even with the detection in the lowest setting.To make matters worse, the unit has a habit of resetting itself. When the unit resets itself, both motion detection and night time light does not work. What's the point of buying a motion sensor light if it does not switch on when someone walks past and waves their hands about!Sending back. Will try the Ring Floodlight Cam to see if that is better.
