I purchased these for the kids lunchboxes. I like all of the compartments and the spoon that came with it. The box doesn't leak, but the items in the separate compartments will spill out of their actual area into other areas of the box. Had it not been for that I would have given it five stars. I was really looking for something that would have kept everything separate and from mixing and leaking. The top doesn't meet the edges of the compartments, allowing it to mix with other items in the box.

This bento is fantastic! It is thick plastic with several divided compartments in various sizes, plus a small plastic bowl with a lid which fits in one of the compartments. The box has a locking lid with a rubber gasket to keep it from leaking. The size is perfect for a normal person to have well-portioned lunches. The small plastic bowl makes this one of my favorite bentos, as you can easily use it for soup or other liquid items, since it has a tight-fitting plastic lid, or you could use it for something you want to heat while keeping the other food cold, or vice versa. I often use it for yogurt and berries. The entire box can be put in the microwave (without lids) and the freezer, so you can pack several lunches to store for later. I am considering ordering a couple more since they are so inexpensive, just to have some healthy lunches packed away in the freezer.

I returned this item. I was disappointed that the lid did not cover each compartment separately, but rather left space so that food items could move to a different section is the container was not held completely flat. My larger concern that the instruction booklet inside the container was written in very poor English. It never stated it was BPA free. With the exception of the words "hot" and "cold," everything was written in Chinese on out outside of the box. I was not comfortable packing my child's lunch in this container, so I returned it.I found a different brand that I purchased instead. It has segmented containers, the lid keeps these area separate, it doesn't leak, and it is BPA free.

I wouldnt even give these a one if I didn't have to. These are advertized as 4 compartment leak proof bento boxes. I assumed that meant each compartment was leak proof therefore I could place items in each compartment and they would not spill over into the others when my child turned the bento on its side. This is not true. the small round has a lid on it and I have not checked if it is leak proof yet. Every other compartment will spill over into the others. Now I am stuck with two of these useless bento boxes. Terribly falsely advertised. This is the first ever amazon product that I am disappointed in.

The lid does not come flush with the compartments, so food can easily shift from one section to another. Would not recommend.

Space between lid made all food mix together. "Leakproof" is misleading! I want to return and they are charging me to return it.

Love this Bento Box. Great size for an adult. Many sections for variety of lunch choices.

Don't buy it!!I was so excited when I ordered it. But I was very disappointed. There is about 1/2 - 1 inch space between lid and container. Which means you can't put small things like raisins, cut fruit ect. In it. It will all mix up and make a big mess. Very disappointed
