Decided not to use
I bought these because I sometimes inadvertently press the Eb key when I only want to open the D. A raiser on the D key seemed to be the solution. However, on one playing session it slipped off and got caught up in the mechanism lower down with ( fortunately temporarily ) disastrous results. No doubt I could use a spot of adhesive but I have decided to do more palm key practise and hope to avoid the problem that way.

Useful for key adjustments
Useful to raise the height of these keys if you have large hands, especially the top f key. Also for the RH f# which is a bit hard to reach.

Amazingly effective
I bought these for a vintage Conn 6M alto, on which the palm keys are set so close to the body that I can't reach them. The palm key risers gave enough lift to completely solve the problem. I wish every gadget for the saxophone was so cheap and effective

Excellent value for money.
As a beginner, these pads certainly make it easier for me to operate the palm keys on my Alto Sax, for example in one of my favourite pieces, Baker Street.
