Great product - great USA company who made it - great service
My first one arrived, and had a loose knot at the scraper end; which got past quality inspection apparently. The knot was in bad spot for the purpose of this item. The item came with a thank you note; and contact info to report any problems. I sent an email to company with photo's of the problem. They took care of it, and my new item was on the way within 24 hours. Now that's customer service. I have not even used the item yet LOL and happy with it so far! Looking forward to using it. I was going to get metal bristle brush, but saw several reports of the metal tines coming off, getting into food, and causing serious problems in people who ingested it. So this will be safer.

Best I've used.
This is the best grill scraper I've used. The double-bevel design makes it much more effective at getting between the grates than the other wood scrapers I've tried. And, after hearing the stories of people ingesting wire bristles, and subsequently seeing some bristles left behind on my grill by my wire brush, I'll be using wood scrapers from here on out.

An Inauspicious Beginning
An Inauspicious Beginning, is why I give three stars to this product. On the very first occasion that I used the Bear Claw, one half of the handle (the end you grasp and push) broke off in my hand.Since my grill is porcelain-coated, I continued scraping. As advertised, the Bear Claw scraps the grill without harming the coating. With each usage, grooves were burnt into the scraper and the Claw became more and more efficient at getting deeper into the open area between the slats. For me, this took no more than a dozen times.I'm quite satisfied with its performance. My only complaint is its durability at the handle end.

Great Gift for that friend who hosts BBQs
I wanted to get something thoughtful for my friend who always hosts BBQs and get-togethers, so I purchased this as a gift for him. He had never seen a wooden scraper before and has only had positive things to say about it so far. He ended up tossing his metal scraper entirely. Would definitely recommend for personal use or as a gift.

As expected
As expected. I refurbished my grill and wanted to avoid metal wires in my food. Nice piece of cedar with a burned in bear paw image and a leather loop for hanging. I have a stainless steel grate on my Weber and it gets the main gunk off the grate and I can get between the bars with the pointed part of the beveled edge. Made in USA is why I tried this product over others.

It's a winner!
Bought a dozen of these for my staff as holiday gifts and the feedback has been tremendous. They very much like the bristle-free scraper and its unique beveled-edge design, as well as its bear claw logo and design. Would highly recommend as a well-received gift and/or addition to any barbeque grill set of accessories.

Will never use another grill cleaner/brush again
Works great cleaning the grill with not having to worrying about getting splintered metal pieces in your food like most grill cleanerss with bristles do. Been using mine for about 3 months now and getting one for my dad and father in law too. Definitely worth the price & great quality 👍🏼
