Only works with 2.4ghz networks - here's how to sort it out...
Unlike others, I found setting up this plug to be a real hassle. It will only link with 2.4Ghz networks and it was only after some Google-ing that I found the solution - as long as you have a dual band router (panic not, you may find you have a dual band router without knowing it!). I'm on Plusnet - I went into the Advanced Settings of the router, selected '5GHz Wireless' option (towards the top of the screen) and changed 'Sync with 2.4GHz' to No. Then I selected the '2.4 GHz wireless' option and changed the name so I could differentiate between the 2.4 and the 5.0 networks. I don't know about other routers, but I suspect that, if you have a dual band router, you will find that you can do something similar. A pain, but now it's paired, it works well; doesn't block the other sockets on the 6-way it's plugged into and is controlled by the Google Home I bought today :)

Ok for a price
Working good.Smart life app working good, running on background (draining a battery little bit). You can remote a plug out of from home.You can set a timer and schedule times, then a plug will turn on/off without phone connect to router.If you don't have some google home device, you will not able link smart life with google home app. It does mean will be not able control a plug with google assistent.Edit: google home got update, now you can link plug without any google deviceLinking with amazon alexa no problem.

love it a little tricky to set up with google ...
love it a little tricky to set up with google home but the first two came with very small print instruction that did work .(with a little understanding of how things work with apps helps) but the third seams a little older version with no google home instructions but have to say works with it fine setting up as per the first two instructions.would give 5 star but for poor instructions .As for working of the sockets 5STAR will buy more

Works well with Echo dot
I had issues with a different brand. This works perfectly with my Echo dot. The interface is clunky and set-up is a pain, but you only need do this once. Has been working trouble free since. Good vfm.

Stop working after 4months
I woke up one day and it stopped working very disappointed as it was for my electrical heater. Used only during 4 months. I don't recommend this product.

Love it! Works really well
Bought it to turn on my electrical heater before I get home, it's works really well, I can turn it on via my phone in their app or via alexa. At home I can ask Alexa to turn it on and it does! Pleased with the purchase, thanks
