It does have glue and it does catch dust off shoes. However... the bottom layer that's supposed to grip the floor doesn't. Opening the package was very difficult. It came inside a very tight shrink wrap that seemed to be part of the product. Separating it took me a long time and it was messy.

Worst ever. Don't buy. A gnat wouldn't get stuck on this.
