**Q: Is it sturdy while using the touch screen when tablet/ipad is placed portrait potition?**
A: Yes it's very stable as it has a wide base, my tab S9 Ultra in Portrait mode was fine, but obviously like a crane don't overstretch the legs or it will become unstable.

**Q: Can the screws be adjusted for tightness?**
A: I don’t think so. I purchased 2 of these stands and they are absolutely fantastic quality. They are a little stiff to start with but they become easier to move with use. I don’t see any need to tighten any screws; in fact, there are no visible screws to tighten.

**Q: Would this be stable enough to hold a Macbook Air 13.3"?**
A: Hi,
Since the limited load capacity of the stand, for your best use, it's recommended to use tablets up to 12.9 inches.

This is a well engineered and quality stand. It's also nicely rigid, so once adjusted, it isn't going to move and with the thin rubber padding, it isn't going to scratch the iPad. I was looking for something to hold an iPad in place while using a midi keyboard, much like a music stand, given the quality of synth apps in the app store and after a bit of searching through different types of stands and clip on holders, I decided on this. Using Heavy Duty Stick On Velcro to attach the bottom of the keyboard to this, it allows me to use the keyboard on my lap. I'm really pleased with this and it's a bargain price for the quality.
