It works well
Ok so I've had this for a few weeks and it works well. A simple unit with a good quality Toroidal Transformer and not much else. The internal connections are good, and straight forward and there is virtually no electronics inside other than the transformer. It does have a light and a USB outlet but these are not needed to make it work. So reliability and durability is good, the front meters are not totally accurate and may be off by a bit. But the power coming out is within specs. It will not clean up the power since there are no other electronics or filter circuit inside. It would be nice to have a meter showing the incoming power in addition to the the outgoing power. I dont load this thing up so I dont really have a buzz or hum that could be if you run a lot of power through it. Even then there are things that can be done to mitigate the noise. It also only has a light to tell you the incoming power is plugged in.All in all it fits my needs perfectly and is a good solid converter that is very simple and very quiet with a very little extra draw on the power to achieve the power conversion from the converter itself. So power loss because of the unit itself is almost non existent. I wish it would switch incoming power automatically rather than having to flip a switch but it keeps the cost down and reliability up. This unit is not something you would want to tote around, its heavy. But if you need reliable power conversion I can recommend this unit.

AWESOME UNIT it runs my minisplit 27K
I use this unit as a cheap way to convert 120 to 240. I rewired the unit for my RV to install a minisplit that is make 3000W. Note the wire inside was very much undersized for 45amps. I replace most of the wire and insured the power went directly into the transformer instead of looping through each outlet first with is totally crazy. Really all I was looking for was the transformer inside the rest of the unit is OK and I liked the metal housing. I removed the rear breaker (cause I already have my own 30 amp breaker) and the switch to go between 120 and 240 input. I also cut holes into the metal and installed conduit. I found after my rewire the displayed voltages are off from what is really going in but they are close. I left the front breaker as a disconnect. The packaging works well to strap it down in my RV. Works really well if looking to put a 240V mini split into an RV that really only does 110V.

Best purchase ever
This was a lifesaver for my music 🎶.

So far, it works well.
I bought the 5000W elevator for one device I don't use frequently, but when I do, it's for long continuous periods—typically 12/15 hours. The device requires 230V and at least 13A. I’ve used the elevator twice. Initially, it shows 253V output and 126V input, but it stabilizes at +/- 232V and 123V during the use. It runs continuously, gets warm but not too hot to the touch, and has a slight odor. It's heavy, but so far, it works well.Based on my calculations, a 1500W elevator should have been sufficient, so I initially tried a Dynastar, but it didn’t work.

Did not work, dead unit
The product is fundamentally very low quality. (I am an engineer that designs products like this)It is rated at 5000W, but realistically should have a rating of about 1500 W.The unit would not turn on at all. I took the lid off, first thing I could smell burnt electronics. Then I noticed that one wire to the input voltage selector switch had gotten hot and unsoldered from the switch terminal. Another wire on the circuit breaker had gotten very hot and the copper was very oxidized. The transformer is a nicely made large toroide, configured as an auto transformer.I did not expect the same quality as the Victron Energy units that cost 5 times a much, however I do feel that it should come reasonably close to working as advertised.

Silent and reliable
What a wonder. Runs my 40 gallon water heater and doesn't complain. My 120v solar is now good for 2 wire 220v
