The Backstreet Boys recently celebrated their 20th anniversary. Yes, they're still around. They are by no means a thing of the past. This CD includes all their hit singles before they took a break in 2002, from We've Got it Going On of 1995, to Drowning of 2001. A couple of the songs I don't remember from the time, such as Anywhere for You, as I was only about 7 years old and wouldn't discover pop music for another year or two. But others, like Show Me the Meaning and Larger Than Life, remind me of how excited I was to see these videos on The Box as brand-new releases. I was a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys by then, particularly Nick. I had discovered pop music and all the goodness it had to offer. Like a lot of other girls.I love to listen to this CD when I miss good old-fashioned 90s pop music. I really dislike a lot of chart music today, and get incredibly nostalgic for songs of the 90s, when music was less about clubbing all night long until dawn and hopefully getting lucky in the process. Pop music was pop music then, not dance music. And as you listen to All I Have to Give, you'll remember why you loved the 90s so much.Although the 90s are, sadly, over, the Backstreet Boys certainly aren't. This is just Chapter One. They have, as they said, got it going on for years. :)

I've always been a big fan of Backstreet Boys so this was a must to add to my collection.Literally love every song and know all the words, have so many memories from these songs which actually still sound recent and current.
