Not for fine and/or curly hair!
I have very fine and very naturally curly hair. My head is a ball of frizz after I dry it. These curlers should have worked perfectly to turn curly hair into wavy hair or hair with one long curl. However, there are a couple of problems. One is that the tie uses Velcro to attach to the bottom of the roller. People with thicker and straighter hair won’t experience the pain and loss of hair that occurs when fine curly hair gets intertwined in the hook side of the Velcro. There’s really no way to keep this from happening. When it does, I have to focus on pulling out one hair at a time from the Velcro and sometimes it grabs strands of hair so well that if you can’t pull each individual hair out then the only option is to break the trapped hair(s). I will be cutting off at least 1/2” from the length of the hooked side. Magnets or some other way of fastening the curlers would work much better than Velcro to keep hair from getting tangled in the Velcro.Another problem is that you can’t roll your hair close to the scalp because you need to leave enough room for the ribbon that wraps around the curler. For those with curly hair the end result is straighter hair with a wave at the bottom. However, on the top of that section of hair near the scalp, you still have patches of very curly hair.I don’t think these curlers were worth the price especially since I’ll probably only use them when someone else can put them in to hopefully avoid tangling hair in the Velcro.Additionally, it’s difficult to get comfortable enough wearing these when going to sleep. The reason is one has the natural inclination to flip the rollers up and off your face. Unfortunately this can really hurt because the hair of varying lengths gets pulled. Additionally you can’t really wear these rollers except at night because they flip down in front of your eyes making it difficult to see.

Great Idea, Didn't Work for Me!
Love the concept and salute the ingenuity...SO wanted to love these, but I don't. I take full responsibility that it may just be me, but I thought these were really difficult to put in my hair...especially in the back. The instructions are not very good...and even if you look on You Tube, it's still a bit confusing. And it was tricky to try to figure out which way to wind the strip of fabric. Oftentimes I would do it the wrong direction and then it couldn't adhere to the velcro so I had to start over. Once they are in, it is rather difficult to do most anything as they are hanging in your face...at least mine were. As for sleeping, I cannot comprehend that anyone would think these are comfortable to sleep in. Yes...they are soft and cushiony, but still so uncomfortable once your head hits the pillow, especially if you're a side sleeper. On your back, it's not so bad. As for the curls in the morning, mine looked okay...not great. And I will take responsibility for that as I'm sure I didn't curl right. Again, great concept...just not for me.

Overall good, cool
Overall good, cool, easy product. They do fall out a little if you toss and turn in your sleep, but still pretty effective.

Not bad
These work okay. Although a couple of them were mostly out by morning. The curl is not bad. I have shoulder length, thick hair. which curls easily. They are a bit of a pain to use. But I guess I'll get better with practice. I like them mostly for the convenience factor in the morning. And although I prefer hot rollers, these don't damage your hair.

Flat nothing curls
Perfect for sleeping, horrid result for fine hair. One fell out sometime in the night, one was almost out and the others hung oddly. The result was an ugly and flat look the next morning. I can do far better wrapping it around two fingers and then pinning it with small bobby pins. Slightly uncomfortable, but worth the nice result.

Great Product!
I am always a bit hesitant to try something that will help my unmanageable hair; however, this product works great for me.I washed my hair and let it air dry a bit until my hair was damp. I wrapped my hair in sections (as instructed). I wrapped my hair in the curlers a little tight to have a tighter curl. I slept well with them (soft and comfortable). I was pleasantly surprised to wake up to nice, wavy hair! I did touch up the top of my head with a flat iron, but overall, the product works for my type of hair: thick and slightly wavy.

Didn’t work
My sister got these. She said she was excited to get them but they didn’t work. They were incredibly difficult and painful to sleep in and didn’t work that well. She figured a good nights sleep minus 5 minutes to curl her hair is much better than using these.
