Quality Assurance failed somewhere in supply chain
I regularly purchase this product from this vendor and normally, quality is top notch. This time, I reviewed a sugary blob, which is not acceptable. I know boiled sweets are hydroscopic so will stick together and become a blob over time, but that duration is a matter of weeks. As it arrived as a block, I can nut deduce that supplier’s quality control check failed and as this is a food stuff, this is unacceptable. So I will be looking for an alternative supplier of my sweets going forward.

Disappointing
I have purchased these pear drops a total of eight times and until this last order have been happy with them but unfortunately this last time they are badly broken and all stuck together. I appreciate it has been warm and so don't expect them to be perfect but this shouldn't mean that they arrive in pieces. I will consider buying them individually wrapped in future to avoid them sticking together. On the plus side they are very tasty just as they were in my childhood.
