While I can't take advantage of Cat 7 in my house due to it being pre-wired with Cat-5e and because residential internet speeds aren't even close to being able to utilize Cat 7 fully in most areas, I wanted to ensure maximum transmission between my ATT modem in the office, and my wi-fi router in the tech closet that is located about 45 feet away, but most aesthetic path required about 75 feet of line We use a mix of ethernet ports and wi-fi in the house... TV's, Desktop, and Media server hardlined, NEST security stuff and portable devices, garage door opener, vacuum, etc. connected to wi-fi and I have seen no degradation in speeds since installing this cable, which I wouldn't have expected to see anyways.The cable itself is sturdy but flexible enough that I could make bends without worry that I would damage the individual wires inside.It is a flat wire, and it can be painted over if you can get the wire taught enough against the way.... this is where my one gripe comes in... they don't provide enough clips and the clips are squared. I tried going to Lowes to get some extra's, but they only had rounded clips. Not a big deal as I am planning on rewiring and adding extra ethernet ports soon anyways.

WOW! I'm not sure how you can misengineer such a simple product as an *ethernet cable* so poorly, but these guys managed to do it!!I don't typically take the time to write reviews, but this product being such a failure forced me to come back and report, just to try to save somebody the hassle and disappointment. In my experience, ethernet cables are typically some of the simplest to make (can relatively easily make it yourself with a length of cable and a pair of the end connectors) as well as some of the most resilient -- I have CAT4 and 5 cables I bought or made nearly a decade or even more ago, that are all kinked to hell with the insulation chipping off, and they still maintain a steady (albeit much slower) connection, with no issue. This cable on the other hand, while attractive with its flat white cable and ostensibly of some 'quality' with the gold connectors, is a complete POS! It worked for *maaaaybe* 4, at most 5 months before COMPLETELY DYING!! It was plugged in and out a handful of times during this use period, but not beyond what is to be expected and not violently; the connectors are not damaged and still appear to make a good connection and make a 'click'. But the cable is completely dead -- incapable of transmitting any more data after only a few months of use.Of course I verified my shocked assumption with other cables -- the same ports on my laptop/router work fine with any other cable (even the 10+ year old one!) except this "brand new fancy" cable. I've never seen anything like this in my life. What a piss-poor excuse for a product...Clearly there is no QC whatsoever at this manufacturer. Maybe you'll get lucky and your cable will work for a reasonable lifetime. Or hopefully at least you'll get lucky enough for it to be dead out of the box so you can get a replacement! But there's a decent chance you'll be like me, stuck with a 50ft white plastic rope after a few months since that's about all it's good for anymore.Would give 0 stars if I could.

I needed to replace the Ethernet cable I was using because it was gnawed on by a dog. This one has minimal latency which is great especially since it is a long cable. The price was great on this one and the quality is solid. I do a lot of gaming, and so quality really mattered to me. Being a student, I needed quality at a great price. This hit the mark.

I have no ptoblems so far. Vety good product! Buy separate a nano tape so you can keep the cable in position.

A great cable if I used it as intended, which would be to neatly run it across the baseboard but I put it away when I’m finished using it,frequently. It quickly becomes tangled and twisted. If you’re planning on not installing this for long term use, go with a round cord and save the headache.

Had this product a little while and it is very temperamental. My Internet would randomly drop (not ideal when playing online games) I thought it was my router as this product was new but I have just bought a new cable and it is 10x better with a reliable connection.Save your money

Was skeptical at first, but after securing it around my room, it has worked very well. And is flat so it’s not as easy to notice.the clips fit perfectly and I am very pleased.ps, before buying always pick a size up than you think because the amount I bought only just fit haha!

Excellent home office in the garden and phone and computer attached to modem almost 100 feet away.
