Mice are gone
After 3 days mice have moved out

I tried EVERYTHING. This changed our lives.
I don't like reading crazy sounding reviews that seem like they are written by the company that sells the product; I have to make an exception in this case and write one of my own. We moved to the top of a mountain this past March, and no one warned us about all of the mice. There aren't enough predators to keep them at bay, and they frigging INFESTED our cars in the driveway after a month of moving in. By the time we noticed, the mice had taken insulation and padding from the seats and created huge nests in the engine bay, trunk, dash, EVERYWHERE. We freaked out since it was our first time experiencing anything like this and read online for solutions. We battled them *all* year up until last month when we bought these MouseBlockers. We tried every stupid thing you've ever read on the internet to prevent mice. Irish Springs soap (they ATE it), mothballs (they didnt mind - we wanted to die), pure peppermint oil (seemed to work for short periods of time, but they immediately came back even with constant spraying. This also made our eyes water we sprayed it so strong). I finally resorted to live traps. I would catch a mouse here and there and take them down the mountain and release them. the problem with this is that if there's 1 mouse, there's thousands. You could catch a mouse every day, and there's thousands more to replace it. Do you want to kill or live trap mice every day forever?I also read online and youtube about sonic devices and how they don't actually work for mice, so I was highly skeptical these would work. I was at my last nerve with mice running all over the car while I drove down the mountain so I was willing to give anything a try. THANKFULLY I can say that after 1.5 months of using this, the mice are GONE! I knew it was working the first weekend we installed the because we would see mouse droppings every single morning in the cupholders and dash as well as live mice in the traps. This was instantly gone after the first weekend. Now that it's been almost 2 months with them, it's all just starting to feel like a bad dream and I can finally review this. I can't recommend these highly enough. For anyone that knows the feeling of seeing mice dart around the car while you drive, you know that it's unnerving experience. The install is super easy. Make sure you try to find a spot somewhat close to the battery because of the short wires, CLEAN the flat spot you pick with de-greaser and then alcohol, and use a high temp heavy duty double sided tape like loctite red. Use 4 strips (2 vertical following the side mounts - 2 horizontal along the fins). You can also use the holes and screws but it's harder to find a mount point and possibly have to drill. Also, put it in a spot where you know you'll get maximum reverberation in the engine bay (don't put it next to or against a padded insulation piece).I know this was long, but it really saved us big time. Luckily the mice had just damaged insulation/seats etc and hadn't ruined the engine wiring yet except for my blinker light wires. We have them set to the highest setting (loud and blinking LED's). I can hear them, our younger friends can definitely hear them, but older people can't hear that frequency as well. As long as the mice stay away, I don't care!

Mouse Blocker Pro or Mouse Blocker ProX?
I have had issues with squirrels, mice, rats, you name it, chewing up the wiring on my vehicles. I purchased 1 Mouse Blocker Pro 12v to test out. No more damage, no paw prints in the dust, it appeared to be working, so I purchased a second Mouse Blocker Pro 12v, and installed it a few months ago. Those both came in the same packaging, which is what you see in the right side of the photo's I have attached.I bought a 3rd one about a week ago. The 3rd arrived, but on the box has Mouse Blocker ProX, the packaging is the same, except the the printing on the outside is different, and the printing on the actual device is different. The enclosed product installation and operation guide is the same as the previous 2.I installed the 3rd Mouse Blocker ProX, the documentation and description states the device shutoff when the vehicle is started, the voltage is low, and has the same install instructions. I installed it, and found there are some differences in the Mouse Blocker ProX, I had to do my own research and testing to figure out why the device I received didn't work like the previous 2. The manufacturer appears to have updated the device, or it is a new one, and does not operate like the previous 2 I purchased. Both turn on/off, have 3 levels of sound, and connect to the battery the same. The ProX however, does not shut off when the vehicle is started, and I noticed when I was installing it, if you move the ProX, it appeared to shutoff. At first I thought the unit I had was defective, but some testing I discovered if the device is moved, it shuts off, I had use a camera under the hood, start the vehicle, and start driving, it shut off, which explains why the device did not shutoff when I started the vehicle. I wonder how many are being returned due to the outdated documentation? If you purchase one, be aware there appear to be 2 models, the Mouse Blocker Pro, and the Mouse Blocker ProX. The documentation they send is for the Mouse Blocker Pro, not the ProX.The box on the ProX does not mention it shuts off if the voltage drops below 11.5v, and since it lacks documentation I am not sure if it does, or does not, I may wake up one day to a dead battery, ,which is when I will find out if it shuts off below 11.5v.The Mouse Blocker ProX does not shut off when the vehicle is started, I appears if the device detects movement, it shuts off. I am assuming this as it's my observation from watching it when I move the vehicle from point A to point B. It appears to start working again when the vehicle is no longer moving.I deducted a star due to the lack of documentation on the ProX, is it an update, a different version, they have different applications, like an electric vehicle, or can they be used on both combustion and electric vehicles? Only time will tell if it is as effective as the previous purchases.

junk
JUNK If I could give no starts I would have three Honda crvs and one car mouse nest in upper fender and the other two both hood insulation's have been destroyed. And one has all dash lights on as something got chewed. Must be a mouse that is deaf???
