Prepare to murder.
Picture the scene. Fatticus Ratticus has been on the loose for weeks. For the last two weeks, he has evaded all traps - peanut butter or mars bars are clearly not his favourites. Until one day - ONE DAY - Fatticus Ratticus gains a sweet tooth and SNAP. Job done, I hear you say. Oh no. Fatticus Ratticus is still live and squeaking. Do not only did I spend £16.99 on some traps, 60p on a mars bar and £1 on some peanut butter, I still ended up having to drown the little git in a bucket. Rodent murder was not supposed to be on my resume, prepare to give them a helpful nudge when kicking your rat off this mortal coil.

Good for garden rats
Like killed three rats garden within short time. 4 stars because the bait case can be lost but it is still functional without it.I found out I had rats in the garden. Tried rat poison boxes that were rather expensive and the only thing they did was to feed them. I bough these and used leftover pieces of poison cubes as bait.I killed two within three days and got another one After few days .I still have some in the garden waiting just in case.Easy to clean and you lift the top by pressing from the opposite end to remove the body which makes it easy.

Rat attacker.
Unfortunately Houdini the rat managed to break the mechanism in one on first deployment. I suspect he was annoyed as one of the other traps brained his wife. These traps are very powerful and easy to use, always hold it in the locked position whilst dropping some peanut butter in the trap. The bait cup is supposed to twist out from the bottom but, I'm an old git and couldn't grip it!Enjoy the satisfaction of a crack in the night.

Catch raticus
Use these with baiting. Have a chicken coup, and plenty of places for rats to nest under decking and old shed. Neighbour has three old sheds [most live there]. Chicken feeders allow rats a free meal-but not for me.Found that the rats prefer pond fish food to chicken food-so use this as bait.In two weeks have caught 9 rats-two being fully grown. Still around, but a reduced population.Except for one young rat who got his leg caught-almost sheared leg trying to get away-all other have had necks broken-so immediate death.Good piece of kit.
