Waterproof Digital Camera for Kids, LINNNZI 12MP HD Underwater Action Camera Camcorder with 2.0 Inch LCD Display, 8X Digital Zoom, Flash and Mic

My advice to anyone thinking about buying this is DON'T! We ordered this for my 8 year old daughter. I didn't have high expectations of picture quality, but just expected for the camera to work and entertain her on family outings/vacations. The first camera we received did not work at all. We had to send it back, and order another one (as this is not an Amazon fulfilled product you can not just exchange). The second camera worked when it arrived. The batteries (brand new) only lasted one hour. I was prepared for this after reading the reviews. However, after the first water use with the camera, it broke. We followed all of the directions. But, after the first use in water for only ONE picture, the camera shut off and would not turn back on. The screen, lens, and flash areas also held moisture which as visible and did not go away. After a day, the camera did turn back on, on its own. The camera continued to do this (turn it self on and off). Also, the viewing screen broke after the one water use. There were multiple lines running through the screen and a big black blob. The flash also would not work after the one water use.

Got this as a back up camera that I can "throw around" and not be too worried if I lost it or scratched it up. Please take note that if you get this you'll also need to get two batteries and a SD card (32gb or LESS) otherwise you won't be able to play with it out of the box. The design is not bad, with grooves on the sides for better grip. It is a relatively easy camera to figure out, and I did not even need to read the instruction manual as a lot of it is common sense from having used numerous other cameras. It also comes with a velvet pouch for storage and carry. It might not be the best or clearest quality but this is an off brand so don't expect SONY/CANON/etc quality. I can't wait to bring this to beach/lake trips with us since it is somewhat waterproof, but I probably won't be dunking it in the water in hopes of getting more life out of this camera. I got this not for the purpose of letting a child use but If you have younger kids this is definitely a good one to let them play with instead of your higher end cameras / cellphone cameras.

The customer service was fantastic. I purchased this camera, for my little grand-daughter's 6th birthday last month, and it sadly had a malfunction. Unfortunately, since I tend to order things early and by the time she received it and found out it wasn't working properly, I was then one day too late to exchange it through Amazon. So, my husband contacted Linnnzi directly through their email account. They got right back with us and gave us a code to have the camera replaced at no charge, through Amazon. The problem we had, hasn't seemed to be a common problem at all (these things happen) and they stood behind their product, making it good. The new camera arrived and it does exactly as advertised. It is early May and our pool is still rather cool, but our grand-daughter came over today and was excited about using her new camera underwater. So much fun! It is nice for a child to have a functional camera, and not have to worry about getting it wet, or even dropping it - a very sturdy waterproof cover. It has the necessary functions and she has had no problem at all navigating the various modes.

I was happy surprised at the quality of this camera for the price we paid and my 1st grader has been snapping pictures all over the place. It is a good size for kids and adults, has survived multiple drops, been to the pool twice and taken some nice pictures. Good color, sharpness and the 12MB size is great for printing off or anything on the computer. We got some good rechargeable batteries for this camera and everyone can click all the snapshots they want or even take some good videos with out worry.The only think I have that was a little challenge was learning the function of the buttons, as it wasn't as intuitive as some of my cameras, but this was a VERY minor thing and we picked it up in a couple minutes.This this is a great camera for kids and made for them to easily use, but I will be snagging it for some of my fishing trips or when we go to the beach. I feel comfortable using this pretty much anywhere outside and think it will do the job for quite a while. We would buy this camera again.

I was really hoping this was going to be a decent camera for my child at an affordable price. But after I realized it didn't actually come with the sd card (which also needs a special micro size that I had to order and spend more additional $ on that I wasn't expecting) it turned out to cost more that it was actually worth. The camera itself is confusing for a child to use and doesn't produce quality pictures. Very disappointing. I learned my lesson. However, I will say, it does seem forgivable with its durability. So if that is what you need, this is the camera for you.

It's a super-duper cheep camera and that's where my expectations are. My issue is that it is sold as a kid camera, but its too easy to put the camera into 'the wrong mode'. Even as I was using it, I kept accidently switching it from photo to video. It's also not obvious how to play the photos back. Things I didn't ding the review for (because of my expectations) but may be important to know is the screen is impossible to see in the sun and there is no way that battery door design is going to last.

We got this for my 4 yo for his birthday. He absolutely loves it, he took so many pictures around the house. The quality of the pictures are not 100% but that’s not really the point. I deduct one star because of the battery. It drains up so quickly we are going to buy a set of rechargeable AAA batteries.

This is a good water camera for the price. It takes quality pictures andIs fairly easy to use. Changing the batteries can be tricky for kids. Be sure to buy Alkaline batteries for this camera...they cheaper batteries die quickly in this camera. Also be sure to get a MICRO card reader for this camera. This was my second go with this camera. Our first one must have been a dud. This company has outstanding customer service and prompt responses to any questions. Customer service means a lot in this day and age.
